Nice and light, really easy to adjust
These are good poles. I particularly like the ease with which you can adjust the length, it's a simple clip which works really well. I knocked off a star on the comfort side because I think the 'glove' could be a better fit, the right one rubbed my hand a little. I used these for the first time this week and was also impressed with how easily the 'glove' detaches from the pole. All in all, a good purchase, thank you.

Great Value for Money
Poles are sturdy and lightweight and are easily adjusted as are the mitts. Well thought out design and very comfortable to use. Attachments are included with spare paws as well.

Quality and weight.
Review based on item quality and only one use (so far).I couldn't believe how light the delivered box was and even more surprised at the weight including the carry bag when taken from box.Very light, the weight(lack of!) barely noticed during a trial hike (3 miles) but not Nordic-walking style. The poles were shared between my wife and myself for an initial trial.I fitted the round rubber end, locked the height on both to suit each participant. Height is done by formula based on persons height but as a guide extend pole to maximum, do not lock it off initially and hold as you would when walking pushing on the pole gently, keep pole upright, until forearm is at right angle to body then lock the height, also make a mental note of the setting from the marked height settings on the pole so you can set this height again.Make sure you adjust the thread of the locking mechanism, mine was a loose fitting as delivered, to ensure the poles do not slip when pressure is put on each. Hiking was successful and I noted my wife and I had different styles, not described here, but as she points out you need to be comfortable in the way you ndividually use them.I intend to use for Nordic-walking which is a faster pace and will need a different shoe-shaped rubber foot fitted. Instructions for use and rubber shape or just spike are found in the Emanual (scan the QR code on installation manual supplied). My only gripe so far is this, the hand straps are removable from the poles. You can leave hand grips on gloves or hands and then reattach to the poles easily. The release mechanism has raised plastic grips for thumb to push to release but during the trial both my wife and I found these would rub on hands-they may wear in time but I'm thinking of covering with cork or similar for future long walks.I'm really impressed with the quality and in use the carbon-fibre could be seen to 'twang' as it absorbs impacts, twanging like a spring would.Looking forward to using for Nordic-walking in the near future, so far very good quality and must recommend these.

Good value, good quality.
These are really great poles, lightweight and with excellent accessories. The only criticism I have is that they don't have height markers on them - as the ones I am used to do. So, if you want to use the traveller mode (whereby you can collapse them) you'll need to put a mark yourself on them once you have them to the right height. Otherwise you'll have to spend time measuring them yourself on each walk.

Gipfelsport Nordic Walking Poles
I like these poles, which have proved to be very good quality indeed. I had some reservations due to some less than complimentary reviews, but they proved to be okay. There are a couple of minor tweaks that you may consider to further improve.Firstly, I would like to see different sizes of gloves available rather than just the adjustable style. Also the side release buttons for the gloves tend to chafe a little if your grip slips a little. I would have preferred a top mounted button like on other poles I have used. The push fit is sometimes a little awkward, but this are minor considerations overall. They are still good value for the price. This is the problem with buying online, you cannot test all aspects of your purchase.

Getting what is paid for.
The ebook that was included in the sale did not materialize .I contacted your customer services dept. who were unhelpful to say the least, telling me they could not do anything to get me the ebook I had paid for. Not a very good advert for your company is it.Regards,I. Bunker.

Good Nordic walking sticks
I have recently joined a walking group and was recommended to buy walking sticks to aid in awkward circumstances and to improve upper arm mobility. I particularly liked these sticks because they had various end stops for different terrain. They have good hand holds and are easily adjusted as to height. They also have removable hand holders which is very convenient. Overall a very efficient product which I have no hesitation in recommending.

Perfect for Nordic walking
These poles are good quality and light. The Nordic hand straps fit well and Velcro around the wrist. Unclipping the hand straps is a matter of pushing a slide down so you can take a drink etc without taking the straps off. They collapse into their vag for storage and come with some extra tip covers
