1] The product is exactly like the one shown in the pictures including the color so not putting any new pictures.2] Excellent Build Quality3] Lead screw is smooth and shiny4] Very sturdy jaws and mounts5] Seller contacted me on "whatsapp" and was extremely prompt is answering questions.6] I am not sure if the mounting bolts are part of the package but when requested, the seller sent it along with the vise.7] Just one thing to note is that the product has toe-in feature where one jaw piece is inwardly angled to prevent top-to-bottom racking. (Top-to-bottom racking occurs when a work-piece is clamped at the top of the jaws. When this happens, the top edge of the sliding jaw tends to tilt away from the clamped work-piece, leaving the object to be pinched at the bottom. This means there is uneven pressure applied to the work-piece, causing it to slip or vibrate within the jaws). The toe-in feature prevents it. I was not aware of it so just a heads-up in case you are wondering why the jaws are not parallel. You can find more info on internet. So this is not a bug for the type of vise being sold.

Good product. Looks sturdy; easy to operate. Have started using it. Seller had shared few demo videos right on the day of ordering the product. This helped me to finalize my decision. Overall a good buy. I like the way seller handled my order (videos, confirmation request, damage proof packing, early delivery) and also the product (strong and effective). I basically bought this vice for working with my MTB parts, as there are lot of things, which my local bike station (LBS) mechanic is not comfortable in understanding and handling. Again, the LBS is unable to provide proper service in some matters (no after sale problems, at all), but none of LBS have tools to change headsets or other component upgrades.So I purchased this product, while being apprehensive at the same time about its compatability with my purpose, as this vice is exclusively made for woodwork.A samaritian's response to my query, regarding its use other than for woodwork helped me make a decision to buy it, and here am I, a satisfied owner of this vice for now.It handled my complicated bike job fine, and I could put back my bike on roll.No woodwork for me, for now, but I am sure it will handle the job very well, whenever it would be.

Also for reaching out through whatsapp and sharing the catalogues of your products, it do confirms we still have quality tool makers who cares about the end user whether it's a weekend hobbyist or a professional.Coming to the product itself. First of all the packaging was way better than what I have received from other big brand tools. No machine marks, no excess scuffing ,all parts work like a well oiled machine from the moment I opened the Vise. Maximum jaw opening is 4 and a half inch which will be suitable for most small to medium projects. The toe in feature is quite handy making it portable especially for worker who have limited space. Not to nit pick but a small suggestion is.. if screws for holding down the vise is provided along with the Vise it will be good so that we don't have to hunt for right size screws to hold it down permanently.Otherwise it's a very good product and would recommend to anyone especially DIY'ers and the ocassional weekend woodworker.

Built quality is good. Worth the price.

This is an excellent portable vise of high quality. There was some glitch in the delivery address but Climax Tools quickly sorted it out. I got a phone call from the company to make sure I had got it and that it was satisfactory. I have just started to learn carpentry after a gap of 50 years and this one was recommended by our teacher. It is easy to clamp to a workbench, well machined, easy to use and reasonably priced. Their customer care is exemplary. The person who called me (the owner?) said they export most of their products and have now started selling in the Indian market.I am definitely going to try some of their other products (mainly vises).

Holding area for object is very less. Manufacturer has to improve this part. I will write further review after enough use.

Good and strong enough to do heavy work. Got little different to what is shown, colour and finish.Fix it anywhere you want. It's like your buddy, goes wherever you want. Finish is good nor v good.There are sharp corners so be careful while working on it. Keep young children away.
