Been singing "chowchow driver" to the tune of Simon/Garfunkle "Baby Driver" ever since we got it.
This is a very ingenious little device. Butterpup has issues of always turning to the right and collapsing, and two MRIs and a spinal tap later, it appears it's going to stay. We ordered this and it has been excellent getting him to walk on his own and he has been expanding his walks and taking more interest in life now that he doesn't have to be carried around. It is lightweight--so much so that I can easily lift it with one hand--but sturdy. It came with all the pieces he needed and more. I was concerned about the wheels (foam) but they haven't locked up and easily manage passive-aggressive topology, such as small tree limbs and rocks, since pup was feeling adventurous enough to go cautiously off-roading. He can go to the stream again now and we don't have to fish him out after his legs give out. He's feeling quite empowered now. We read about one owner whose chow was "embarrassed" to be in one, but this chow has no problem with this *at all*. As soon as we saddled him up, he was off to the races, so to speak. I suspect he was just that tired of being hoisted up like furry baggage and wanted some independence back. Moreover, I think it is good physical therapy for him to keep his legs moving. The design is extremely well thought out and engineered--the front harness has a soft neoprene covering with extensions to ensure there is no rubbing; the attachments to the chassis are solid and ingeniously engineered to keep the carriage firm and safe. The underharness can be lifted out--if necessary, with the dog's rump inside, for short-term portage. Soft squashy foam guards over the nylon support straps keep the pup's undercarriage supported without discomfort. He had no problem depositing a gift baggie for us while he was in the harness, and did not have to fear collapsing in it--an upsetting thing for any dog to endure, let alone one as fastidious as a chow. Overall, this was a wonderful idea and has tremendously increased pup's quality of life. "...scoot down the road, what's my number. . . "

Great product and the best customer service!!
This is a great product. Well made and easy to assemble. Getting the right fit is a little challenging but not from a product standpoint. Each part of the cart work together for the comfort of your pet, so little adjustments are important. The customer service is amazing. They have helped us every step of the way with necessary adjustments. With every penny!!!

Seems decent!
I saw a review left by another person. That reviewer gave advice on how to set-up a dog wheelchair. My dog was deathly afraid of the thing as I was putting it together. I tried to remain in a positive mood as I was snapping pieces together. I also took measurements of my dog. I took measurements so that I could get the size of the struts, side rails, and width as close to perfect before putting an anxious dog anywhere near it. I also ordered the front and rear combination lifting harness for my girl. I got both the front and rear sections of that harness adjusted to fit her. I let my dog sniff and sit near the chair for a bit before I attempted to put her in it. I called my dog over to the me. I put the chair behind and clipped the front buckles into the harness. I used the rear harness to pick my dog's rear end up and installed the rear harness into the chair. I had to adjust the wheel struts a hair. My dog was fitted for her chair. I left it so that my dog's rear feet can just touch the ground. My dog has hip dysplasia, and I want her to be able to exercise her joints while keeping pressure off of them. My dog was a little nervous at first. However, she took a few steps around my house. I am sure there will be a learning curve for her (or any dog for that matter). My dog did seem pretty excited after taking a few steps as her tail was really wagging like crazy. That makes me happy. Pros: Very adjustable Easy to adjust to dogs of different sizes Sturdy when lock screws are used to secure extendable parts Easy to get my dog into with their two piece lifting harness (extra purchase) Lots of different accessories are available/upgradeable if dog's health deteriorates Cons: Very expensive for what it is It has just been a day. However, my dog was happy once I got hed in it. I am hoping this will help my dog be able to get exercise while also allowing her to keep using her back legs. That would be great therapy for my dog. I will update my review based on how my dog does and provide feedback on how this holds up over time.

Honest Review on a Great Wheelchair!
This was for my senior Husky, who was 50 lbs. I ordered the Med-Lrg. I have used wheelchairs before and I was impressed with this one. It is well made and easy to assemble. The materials are high quality. The main frame is heavily powder coated for a nice look. I had my pup in it in :30. It only required a little more adjustments to the straps which are a little tricky, but well padded. Yes, the little push buttons on the frame can fall out of place as mentioned in other reviews, but it just takes a tap or a flathead screwdriver to get it back in position. EASY! The frame is very lightweight, so I could easily lift it with my pup in it. (I am a 60 yr. old woman with arthritis.) The wheelbase is not too wide, though not narrow enough for indoors. I especially liked that it could fold flat for easy storage in my car. I took one star off for their customer service. Although I was confident I had adjusted it properly, they encourage contacting them to ensure you have a proper fit, which I did. But it took them two weeks to reply. Sadly, that was all the time I had left with my pup. However, their response team was very compassionate and apologetic. As for cost, this is more expensive than some others but not nearly as expensive as a custom chair. I think it is well worth it. I highly recommend this chair!

Skip all the snake oil!
If your dog is struggling to walk i would recommend this. I purchased all the braces and bands, none of which worked. Get this if you want your furry friend to be able to get around by themself again. Yes they can go 1 and 2 in this. Made with quality materials this should last a long time! Only use while supervised as they can tip over sometimes.

My dog adapted to it very quickly. Easy to assemble, light weight and it works well on uneven terrain. She's very happy to run without falling over. It's expensive but worth it. I went with this model because of the reviews and I'm really happy I did. I needed a strut (the bar that has the tire attached to it) that was a little higher so I contacted the company and they sell replacement parts and extras on their website for reasonable prices. Execellent product!
