Tata Swach Viva Silver UV+UF Wall Mounted 6 Liter Water Purifier

I have been using this for around a month and I am pretty happy with the product. The inbuilt 6 liter tank is really helpful at times of power cuts and the UV + UF filtration works just fine. It takes less than 10 minutes to fill the internal tank and then it automatically shuts off the filter process, The product looks nice on our kitchen wall as well. Amazon delivered in one day (normal free shipping to Bangalore) and installation was done by Tata within the next 48 hours. The installer guy also did a very professional job and there has been no leakage of any sorts. He also informed that there will be two free services for the first year. We just need to call their customer care and schedule for these free service as per our convenience.

Worst customer care service!I purchased product because of "Tata" brand, I did not expect such a service from them. Customer care officers are most lethargic and least interested in solving problem. Even senior officers/managers have no idea of ground team and their effectiveness. I received product on 1st july from Amazon, installation happened after 3 days ( more than committed 48 hours). Product stopped working on 10th. Immediately made complaint to customer service, they said it would take around 48 hours to solve problem. Since water is basic need we insisted on early resolution as 48 hours is too much of delay for basic need. We were promised of fast service. Again called on 11th evening, no one contacted us, customer care mentioned since we said 48 working hours only by tomorrow things can happen. No one came on 12th also, which was saturday. We called on 13th, and talked to senior manager stating that device not working since 3 days and no one is giving any trust worthy response, her response was since Saturday & Sunday are not working day, we could send only on Monday. Waited whole day, no one called us. Again in evening when we talked to customer care, reached senior manager(if same don't know),reply was 48 hours starts from monday as friday was some festival, saturday & sunday are not working day we will do it tomorrow, since 48 hours are still running, all is good you will get service team tomorrow.Frustrated to the core, I contacted Amazon, where last day of return was gone, but they were understanding enough to take back the product. Most amazing part was at Amazon customer care executive was empowered enough to support without any hesitation. Contrary to it, senior manager at Tata Swach's customer care was beating the bushes rather than taking action. Thank you amazon for defining "customer care".Most funny part, a service guy called today, 16th July asking if we have Tata Swach to repair, as he received complaint today from their office.I told him, thanks to Amazon, I don't have your product anymore!

Order this item during Pre-Diwali offers, received it within a week,1. Installation and 1 Year Warranty including any part replacement is free2. Based on location Installation can be done by TATA or their representative from 3rd Party.3. This is not RO based, just UV/UF so be selective in choosing the right filter after understanding the water filtering systems in brief.In our case for installation a 3rd party person came, did nice job, also did some additional work in moving the utensils stand to different place without any extra charge.After a weeks usage filter started to leak water from bottom edge which increased by the time of another week.Called the service person again and rectification job was done by same 3rd PArty (I guess Water mart), service person told he would replace parts if the complain is repeated. However he said such complaints are more from Tata swachh due to product design.So all in all service support is good and I see difference in water quality as well.

Product is good. But not excellent. Amazon did great service. But TATA service is worst that i have ever seen.Pros:Zero water wastage is the good USP for this product.All indications are electronically controlled.Auto shutoff when storage tank is full.Catchy lookSpare parts are available with local dealers.Cons:Very worst (no) customer service. I installed with the help of euroka forbes guy by paying 300 rupees.Spare parts are little bit costly.It doesn't add taste to water. But it gives quality water to drink.My advice : Before buying these products please confirm with TATA customer service regarding installation and other services.

Was in two minds whether to buy this or not or go for the Eureka Forbes model. Be careful to but only from TATA Swach authorized retailer on AMAZON (as specified on TATA Swach website) or they may not offer the warranty. Lucky to get it in 5500. The installation took time and a lot of follow up. It was very shabbily done. The guy who came obviously had no experience. He couldn't even drill the holes in the wall properly.The device is working well and giving the desired results. Now that i'm using it for some time now, I feel this was a better option than Forbes. The taste of water is not affected at all and it dispenses water very quickly. The product is intelligently designed.
