Bypass Whitelist by booting up before plugging in.
I got this for my Y410P. It is not supported due to Lenovo's whitelist.You can get it to work by plugging in the battery AFTER booting up.

You get what you pay for
I have gone through to of these.... I do appreciate that these are low priced, and as such you are getting what you pay for. Lower capacity, quality is lower, and overall life is not as good.So, I get it, cheap battery gives cheap results. But then I had a failure on my second battery within the return window, and Amazon told me I had to contact the seller directly to return/exchange refund. That was a complete waste of time, they never responded, no refund/exchange, nothing.Read reviews, and if you can afford it, buy higher end batteries. Again, I want to be clear, the batteries (when working) will get the job done, but when it fails, the seller is AWOL.

Battery works great in my Lenovo Y500
Battery performs as expected. It’s only been a couple weeks but as of right now I would recommend it.

Battery NOT supported!
After receiving my battery, I attempted to plug it in to my laptop to charge it, but when I went to turn on my computer, it went straight into hibernation mode. I was able to boot up my laptop on just ac power (no battery inserted). So I attempted to insert this battery after already having powered on, but this triggered my computer to go into hibernation mode again. This time, I was able to boot up my laptop with the battery inserted. But after reaching my desktop, I saw the notification in the above photo (stating, in summary, that this system does not support third-party batteries and may not charge the battery because of it). The product description for this battery states that it works for the Lenovo Ideapad y510p, but clearly it did not. The battery I received also did not match the battery in the picture shown. The picture shown in the product description looked just like my old battery, which is one reason I purchased this battery (the voltage for the battery was also the same). The battery I received was completely black, with white writing. It also fit much tighter into my laptop than my old battery (not in a good way).
