Unconventional use, but they're perfect for our needs!
We got these for our little kitten that was born without a foot on one leg. He struggled walking on his little stub, but these socks really help!

The dont fall off, and they seem as comfotable as booties for dogs can get.
I love these booties! They stay on her feet and I dont feel like I am cutting off her circulation like the rubber balloon like ones they have for dogs. The velcro comes separate, but if you lose them you can just run to the hobby store and get some velcro straps. As you can see in the picture if you make the velcro nice and snug right above their paw pad, they will not come off.

Picky chihuahua approved!
We are staying up in North Dakota close to Canadian border and the temperature and snow have been bitter on my southern dogs. Especially my almost 14 year old chihuahua, he will limp/cry in pain from the bitter cold on his feet. I got him some other booties but they were very clunky on his feet and heavy. These are soft and slide right on. He will actually walk out to potty in these where before he wouldn't even walk outside. He trots right down the stairs tail wagging and goes to explore. They also keep the salt off their feet.I wish they made the velcro strap attached to the bootie itself. The overall rubber bottom of these work great and they do their job. These wouldn't be great for really for playing in the snow because in deeper snow the top fabric does get wet or for long walks because I feel like they would slide down some. Make sure you pull up to the hock for the best placement. They do however work great for winter potty breaks😊 I also plan on using them In New Mexico when the temps get super hot to help protect their little feet.I got my chihuahua the size small(he's 8lbs) super petite feet and I got my papillon mix size medium because he has wider feet.

A few secrets for keeping these on....
My dog stepped on a bee last week, and went into anaphylactic shock. She was in the ER for 27 hours so now she has to wear something to protect her feet, as we live in Texas and bees are almost always around.Like others, I had a hard time with these not slipping off her feet and I didn't want to put the Velcro on so tight that her feet swelled. Here are some things that I have found to work to keep them on.1. Stitch the velcro to the bootie.2. Vet wrap! Also called Self Adhesive Cohesive Bandage or Coban. It's what they use to hold the cotton in place on humans after they take blood at your elbow. This has really been key to keeping the booties on. I simply wrap it on her legs at about the location where the velcro wraps, put the booties on over it and they don't slip! You don't have to wrap it on tight, just wrap a few times at the location where you fasten the velcro and it works. My dog is small, so I simply sawed the roll of 2 inch wrap in half so I had two 1-inch rolls. That may seem like a lot of work for your dog to wear booties, but if you are in a situation like mine where your dogs feet need to be protected, it's worth the time. I leave the vet wrap on between walks, and take it off when we are done walking for the day. The key to that is to not make it too tight on their legs, and use a few layers so there is a bit of bulk. There is some wear where the sock meets the rubber part due to her feet pushing though when the booties slid down (before I used the wrap) but I stretched the areas and put some small bits of duct tape on the spots (inside and outside so it doesn't stick to her or anything else). Use small bits because if you use large pieces the sock won't stretch. At first she didn't like wearing the booties, but now she is used to it.

Overall a good buy
My chihuahua tolerates these more than other boots I’ve bought. He refused to wear any boots with shoe-like soles to where he couldn’t feel the ground but these are just like socks with rubber, water proof soles so he seems to like that better. The back feet stay well if i pull them up past his hocks and then use the Velcro straps to keep them in place. I’m having a little trouble getting the front ones to stay in place but they don’t come off, just fall down a little. I would have given them 5 stars had they not came with one rubber sole dented making it hard to place and stay on.

These smell horrible!
The design seems to be pretty good and I liked the fact that they had velcro straps to keep my dog from pulling them off. Unfortunately as soon as I took them out of the package to see if they fit I noticed a terrible smell. I don't know what these are made of but the smell was so bad that I decided whatever it was, these might not be good/safe to put in contact with my dogs paws. Immediately shipped them back for a refund. Also I ordered two different sizes and they BOTH smelled horrible.

Nice cat shoes!
These are very cute, but my cat won't leave them on. He'll shake his feet until he won't take them off. Otherwise nicely made and I like them. Just have to wait for my cat to get used to them

Too small
The shoe size was to small for my cat, than it was shown on a size table.
