Plastic is bit of Cheaper quality, could've been sturdier.Not a bad purchase, writing quality is as good as any sheaffer can be.

Super fast delivery by Amazon... well done!!!Coming to the pen itself, it is an absolute work of art in the semi-premium range. Been using it for a week and this is what I have seen so far:PROS:a. Sleek and Stylish in looks, appearance and aesthetics.b. Good grip resulting in extremely smooth and free-flowing writing. A treat for the true and aspiring writer.c. Good packaging, I.e. standard Sheaffer box along with Amazon packaging. Box came with Pen, user manual, 1 no. Black cartridge and 1 No. Blue cartridge.d. Good Value for money at the price range.e. Quite Lightweight and easy to use.CONS:a. An ink converter could have been added as well, thus giving the user more flexibility and choice.Overall, an absolute must have for fountain pen lovers... go ahead and buy it!!!My rating: 4.75 out of 5 (REALLY GOOD)

I am a fan and using Sheaffers pens since more than 30 years.But the experience of a pen not allowing refill cartridge or Sheaffer fountain pen piston converter to fit in is for the first time in my life.First I tried with the cartridge supplied in the package and when the same did not fit, I bought a Piston converter and that too did not fit.Then I tried the piston and cartridge to my other Sheafers pen and did work fine.A STRICTER QUALITY CONTROL WAS EXPECTED FORM SHEAFERS.I requested a refund but did not get any one from the seller.

Love this design. I have purchased 5 or so in 5 years. It’s thick and writes well. I don’t. I always loved the No Nonsense pen which was a cheap version of the classic Big Red.The roller ball is very comfortable. The rubber grip is great. I’ve had one loose grip that keeps sliding off. The removable cap make the pen long. I don’t use it that way it feels better to me without it. It writes better. Replacement cartridges are even better than the first.I want to like the ballpoint. The cartridge is really bad. Have to push hard to make it write. You can see in the picture. No comparison. I will replace cartridge to see if it improves. Both fit perfectly in a pen loop like the Staples ARC notebooks.So they don’t make the Big Red or the No Nonsense pens anymore. As long as this one is around it’ll do.Great pen. I carry tbe red. Everyone knows which one is mine. I don’t get the negative reviews on a very affordable, good quality pen. It’s as good as the cartridge. Put a good on in and have lifetime of pens for what you pay on a pricy model. I loose one a year consistently. Why buy expensive pens.
