California Costumes Women's Eye Candy - Spanish Pirate Adult

I absoutley loooooved this costume! I'm 5'1 and 127 lbs and it fit great! I got so many compliments! But definitely wear a petticoat under it. It really makes a world of a difference! It looked great, I felt great, was a great Halloween!!

This is a really cute pirate outfit. It comes with the dress, the sleeves, a belt, the hat and a little pirate purse. I ordered an XL as I generally wear a women's size 16 and it fit perfectly, not too large and not too small. The hat was a little squished, but I have a while before Halloween, so it has some time to fluff out. I am going to be wearing this with a black turtleneck. Otherwise, you would need a strapless booster bra or something like it. The front looks a bit like a corset, but is merely ribbon to tie up the front. The vest is attached to the dress making it one piece, and it slips over your head.I added a toy cutlass and toy flintlock that makes noise. I also added a petticoat to poof out the skirt. I have my own boots, so didn't need anything else.I am excited to wear this to our annual Halloween bash!

Costume came on time, smelled and looked new, and included all pieces. The hat was mostly in tact. I tried it on, and I dont think it’s super flattering. It fits well enough, but the sleeves are uncomfortable. They’re tight at the top and loose on the bottom (makes sense why they looked longer in customer photos than on the model). I think they would drive me crazy after a short while. Either that or I’d get used to them. As others have said, the belt is too big. I think I could make it work with tape if I wanted. It’s a halter dress with ties around the neck and no fabric covering the top of the back. I couldn’t tell in customer photos and there’s no picture of the back in the ad. There’s no zipper, so it goes on over your head or you can step into it if you’re slim enough.I don’t like how the laces on the front of the top have to be loose. I think that makes it look less flattering. It’s very short, and I’m very short. So, it would be very, very short on anyone of average height and even shorter on a tall person. I’d definitely wear a petticoat and tights with it.All of that said, it’s an almost complete costume (boots, sword and jewelry not included) for a decent price. Maybe it would look better in other colors?

Considering ladies halloween apparel always runs small the fit was as expected. I typically wear a large size 12 to 14 so I ordered this an xl and is fits perfectly. You can cinch in the waist or leave it loose with the ribbons and the halter tie allows you to adjust coverage. Very cute and well made. I agree with others that the hat is silly so I will find a feather or something different for hair. The sleeves have wonderful elastic so they stay up and stretch in case you are worried if you have larger arms.

I liked the look but the corset looking area is poorly made. Upon receiving, the golden fabric that holds the ribbon on the corset area was tored. I repaired it and added some hooks so it could hold the ribbon. It worked perfectly! I bought a peticot to add volume to the skirt. I also had to mend with Velcro the belt since it wouldn’t hold in place. The pirate hat came completely flat so I bought another hat and made it look like the one the costume came with! Overall and despite all of the small repairs, it was a great outfit! I received tons of compliments! I’m probably wearing it next year!

This costume is adorable.I didn't expect much when I purchased it, as it was inexpensive. I only needed it for a Samba dance performance at a harbor festival, but I'm sure this is going to come in handy for other uses.The top ties like a halter, which is good for those of us who are taller than average, thank along with the bodice lacing up, makes it adjustable and easier to get a good fit. While this wouldn't hold up for daily wear (not what it's designed for) It's well made enough that I should get plenty of use out of it.You definitely want a petticoat underneath for both modesty and to get the skirt to flare.I'm a bit out of shape right now and am running in between medium and large being a good fit. I decided to go a "size and a half up" and get an extra large due to my height, 5' 10". Going a size and a half up was larger than I needed, but it's adjustable enough that it's going to work just fine.This is my first costume from California Costumes and I will definitely buy again.

It's very cute costume . Just tried it on last night . Nothing was missing i had gotten everything that they sad it would come with. Luckily I read the reviews and got one of those skirts, It makes a huge difference .If I didn't get that pettiskirt I wouldn't have liked it. It looks just like it does in the picture if you get the skirt and of course minus the sword. I didn't have any problems with the material messing or snagging like some people said in the comments . The material was nice for a costume . & for the price it wasn't bad . For a girl that is very heavy chested I was afraid that it wasn't going to fit well for my upper part but it did . the store I get my bras from im a DD but in Victoria Secret i might be a F. & I order a Large , also 5'3 and weight about 160

It looks great! The polyester is very slightly cheap looking but over all the whole outfit comes together well. I am 5' 8". Weigh 122. I fit a small but have to wear the petticoat under it. There is more room for a larger bust than a B.

Arrived within good time and looks good on. I'm a size 6 and struggle to find outfits that fit (as xs is usually an 8 online) but this extra small costume fits well. Hat needed to be buffed out a little after being posted but otherwise everything was the same as the photo.

Lovely outfit which received many compliments for Halloween. Need a puffed out skirt underneath to finish it. Arrived quickly. Will need to steam the hat back into shape before use.The gold bag string to separate from the bag. Have sewing kit to hand. Seller was kind enough to replace.

Looks amazing. Good quality and a perfect fit. I'm a 10/12 and ordered that size. Hat was a bit squashed but soon moulded out correctly.Can't wait for the party night.

This is such a beautiful costume!!! The material is not high quality considering the cost, but the looks of it ... I said .. wow!! I’m petite and got XS. Looks really good on photo as well, color is so vibrant! Can’t wait to wear at Halloween party!! All you need is high boots. Love it!!!

It's a good quality and I had many people staring at the cleavage. Husband approved also! Didnt know how to put the belt on properly . Only downside to the costume. And I wore leggings with it because the dress is really short
