Q: has anyone tried 10 carryons?

I have not tried 10 but I had everything under the sun in their from my beach trip. Chairs, umbrellas, 5 duffle bags full and some other things and it all fit.

Q: How do straps fasten to side rails AND crossbars ?

included are two sets of straps, one dedicated to side rails and the other to cross bars. They are both seperate and distinct, and not used at the same time.
