Nice heavy mallet

Arrived in a timely manner. It is a great starter mallet for leather stamping. Price is right as well.

This hammer has a good weight for carving leather goods. It has a nice balance I’ve been using out for about 6 months and it’s working great.

While I haven't done much with it as of yet, the maul seems to work decently and better than the cheap starting mallet that I'd had to start with. Has a good feeling of weight in the hand for stamping and the balance seems right for it.

Has a nice heft in the hand and a large handle comfortable in use

Nice size and weight, well made

It had some blemishes on the handle and the plating, but the balance and weight are pretty good. Strikes nice. Probably would have spent the extra on a nicer one having felt the quality difference now, but this is still way better than any regular hammer/mallet at the hardware store for chiseling/stamping/punching tools.

I am really happy with this maul. It's very well made with no loose fittings and the nylon is like new after a few hundred strikes. It's a simple tool so I don't know how it could be made any better, and for this price it's probably the best value in my leather cabinet
