Softer tubing than pet store tubing.
I prefer this tubing over the tubing you get at pet stores. This tubing is more flexible and not brittle feeling like store bought tubes.

Stiff hose
My application was not for aquarium. I needed a stiffer hose than I had so that it would not crush if it were stepped on or sat on. This hose works perfectly. I have no complaints.

A DIFFERENT FORMULATION THAN THE USUAL CHEAP VINYL TUBING
Softer, like peristaltic pump tubing. More kink resistant. It doesn't stick onto plastic fittings like the PVC, though, so you might want to use a tiny tie-wrap to secure it - depending upon the type of fitting. I like it. This product is on the left in the photo, cheap PVC on the right.

Decent tubing
Tubing is long. Fits most connectors. Super flimsy though, haven't decided if that is a good thing or not yet. But haven't had any issues yet.

Soft but stiff
I like that this product is easy to handle and it is soft enough where I dont have to force any connection in. I have noticed that over time it can get loose but having that extra amount helps make up for that.
