Bach: Italian Concerto, BWV 971 (Multilingual Edition)

This is a useful item for me to play the whole piece of Italian concerto by Bach.

I got this to replace another edition because the layout is much easier to read. Some editions cram as many measures onto a page as possible, which makes reading more difficult. Henle editions in general also seem to put page turns at logical places, but a little difficult with this piece, but still better than the other edition I had. Also, Henle editions seem to stay open at the selected page better than most, without lots of bending and fussing.

Content is good, but this copy is stained and the cover has a small tear in it

I was very happy with this book. It arrived without any kinds of bends or folding, and it was the right piece and it was the edition was the one I was looking for. I had assumed that it would be the right one, but you never know. So basically, exactly what I was looking for, in perfect shape.

It's always good to have the German urtext edition of anything by J.S.Bach.

Depend on Henle for a highly legible and meticulously edited score, no dynamic markings beyond the composer's original ones, and light and intelligent fingering.

Que dire de plus que le fait qu'il n'y a rien à dire. Pas tant sur l'oeuvre elle même bien sûr, mais sur les éditions Henle qui sont absolument parfaites :- Respect du texte- Qualité de l'impression- Qualité du papier- Qualité de l'écriture musicale et de la mise en page.Parfait.

Mir gefällt die Ausgabe von Mortimer Wilson besser. Hier gibt es mehr Tempo- und Dynamikvorschläge. Auch der Finigersatz ist für mich günstiger
