The product is better than the price would suggest.
Usually you get what you pay for. In this case you get a very good, well made product for a great price.Fit our fridge perfectly which calls for the Maytag 8212652 filter. Ran a few quarts of water through it to get it conditioned and we have good clean water and ice cubes. No issues with taste so this is a good deal for filters. I selected to have them shopped directly from the seller "Filter Factory" and they arrived quickly. All four were sealed and the outer box carried the UV seal that they were sanitized.

Because this filter has a different attachment design, it remains comparatively expensive. Wish there were some alternatives to create competition.

Better than Name Brand Filters
Our whirlpool fridge came with our house and our water isn't fantastic, has a lot of minerals so often tastes metallic (old house, old pipes). We always bought the Whirlpool brand filters but decided to try these since it was a 4 pack for about the price of 2. I will never buy Whirlpool brand again! This is the best our water has ever tasted! And it comes out soooo much faster now. Don't know what's different, but better quality and I don't have to wait as long to fill my cup has me a permanent user. :)
