Brilliant & really helps with pain in lower back

Three years ago, I bought this heat pad for my mum, who suffers from arthritis. It’s the perfect size for wrapping around her affected knee, providing the helpful relief she needs. The pad is made from extremely soft material. It heats up very quickly, I’d say about twenty seconds, and on the highest setting gives more than sufficient warmth for easing aches, or just to use as a more efficient alternative to a simple hot water bottle when the weather’s chilly. The power cable is flexible and a generous length at about 7’3”/2.2 m, with the controller about 2’6”/75 cm along from the pad. It has a clear display showing the heat level and timer. There are just three buttons: • 🌡️ Temperature +/- • 🕘 Timer +/- • ⏻ On/Off The timer options are: • 1 = 10 minutes • 2 = 20 minutes Etc up to: • 9 = 90 minutes And that’s it. There’s no permanent on option, apparently for safety, although you can always reset it whenever you please. Heat settings range from 1 to 9, then H, with 1 being least warm and H being the warmest, so effectively H=10. While still plugged in to the mains: • Clicking ⏻ off on the controller leaves a single red dot on the display as standby. • Previous heat and timer settings remain stored until switched back on. When unplugged from the mains: • Display is blank. • Both settings reset to default level 4 when next turned on. -Pros: • Reliable 3 years on • Very soft fabric • Convenient size and weight • User-friendly controller • Multiple heat & timer settings • Long cable • Hand & machine washable (see instructions) • Reasonably priced -Cons: • No "permanent on" timer option • Small print on buttons could be hard to read for some people Overall, this heat pad is well-designed and is what I hoped it would be. My mum loves using it almost every day, says it really is helpful in reducing aches, or just for its comforting warmth. Now over three years since purchasing, it’s still as good as the day it arrived: for the price I think you get what you pay for, so I’m happy to recommend and give it five stars. Nice heating pad easy to use. Functional with easy instructions. Small in size but will cover most average bodies other heating pads comes in larger sizes. Comfortable heat (similar to water bottle warmth not scolding except will not go cold) There is a cut off switch after a certain time which I have not used. This pad covers most parts of the body with in reason helping pain if in doubt would see a doctor to me it was like having a massage my pain is in the shoulders it worked for me will use again.

Bought this as I have chronic neck pain, and have been using hot water bottles, but with those the water gets cold, can be difficult to lay on and I have many times burned my neck (yup blisters and all). This pad is really good as it's the size of a pillow and can just be plugged in, adjust the temperature and time and good to go. I've fallen asleep on it with no worries about burning my neck due to the timer, and when it gets cold and I need heat still, just switch it back on again. It's got an elasticated thing that I think is meant for the waist or something, it doesn't really secure around a pillow properly as the pad then doesn't lay straight. I have also just used the pad directly on my neck and shoulder while sitting up which feels nice. It's also really nice just to use to heat the pillow when the room isn't very warm. Those people who like the 'cool side of the pillow', ergh, I like a warm pillow or least one that's not cold to aggrievate my neck pain further. Highly recommended for my intended use. I'm sure the cat would like it too as she loves my heated blanket but it's bad enough I have to share the bed, duvet, and blankets with her, I'm not sharing this too🤣

This really helps with my backache

Great value heat pad . Very warming for aches and pains in your joints .the controls are easy to use for different temperatures and timing . It turns off itself at the end of the allotted time . Very portable . The timer stops even if you fall asleep

The heat sadly isn’t enough for me and my flare ups but it’s a good product very soft n cozy. I wish I could set it longer then the 90minutes auto shut off as it’s just not long enough but this was known before buying. The size of the mat is good as it covers my whole lower back :)

This is the 2nd time I have bought this heat pad. 1st time 4 years ago as a present, is used constantly and working perfectly. Still completely functional but I thought a replacement was due. It is greatly appreciated especially in the chilly weather. Perfect size for wrapping around you.

I really recommend this heating pad! Very comfy and it works! The heat level is amazing not too hot not too cool, and amazing quality! Very easy to use, just push the remote up for hot down for cool!

Works great, and is soft.

I love this heating pad. It’s an old-fashioned one no-frills however the low is setting is not too hot! The previous one that I ordered had a separate handle for temperature and a a timer. The handle came out in the middle so it was very awkward to use the low setting was so hot that I couldn’t sit very long. That’s why I’m so thrilled that this one a low setting that really is low! I would recommend this

This heating pad has been a life saver for me and my wife. We both have back problems and it has been a massive help. My wife also gets very painful monthly cramps and it works fantastic for that too. The heat is adjustable, the material is nice and soft and it's not too thick or thin. It's perfect.
