Works on my induction cook-top. Must update review
I brought this coffee maker because I could use it on my induction cook-top I've been using an aluminum espresso maker for a few years, but had to use a portable butane stove to heat it. This coffee maker is fairly well made not high end but not cheesy, it works great on my induction cooker makes a great cup of coffee I would have given 5 stars but it had a small bit of damage see photo and the other minor problem is the threading its a little clunky the first turn sticks and rocks around a little bit but once its threaded and the seal tightens it works well. It has a stainless steel basket for the coffee but not sure what the body is made of it is magnetic but not like steel I don't think aluminum ? it dose work on the induction cooker all in all happy with it.Updated review the bottom of pot when at its hottest when you hear the coffee brewing and filling the top pot, the bottom pot bulges almost a 16 of an inch on my induction stove. It go's flat again very fast when I turn off power but I worry over time the pot may fail when pot is boiling, the bottom to me seems to be very thin. it makes great coffee, but i'm a bit of a chicken when it comes to boiling water under pressure. I am looking for a new espresso coffee maker.

Thin steel
I have used this type of stovetop espresso pot for decades. The problem with this one is that while it is stainless, the bottom is flat and the steel is thin, so that when the pot heats up and is under pressure, the bottom pushes out convex and the pot wobbles on the stovetop. I guess you could use less coffee or grind it coarser so that it doesn't build as much chamber pressure. But it is a design flaw.

Shape shifter
I was quite surprised the first time I noticed that as the pressure builds in the lower chamber, the bottom of the pot begins to change shape from slightly concaved to slightly convexed. I have a glass top electric stove, so as the convexed bottom becomes slightly more pronounced, the pot begins to rock around. Once empty and cooled, it returns to the original slightly concaved shape. Interesting!

Product looks great.......but did not work well
It is a great looking product.......and I really wanted it to work. However, over 50% of the brews I tried left the reservoir partially filled with water. My opinion.....the mfg needs to work on functionality. When beauty matches functionality they will have an awesome product.

Good product made in China
It is a little bit less heavy than the most italian stainless steel coffee makers would be and it features a silicone instead of a rubber sealing ring, which works fine and is safe too.

Hard to clean but functional
This is an espresso coffee maker. It seems very light weight and I'm not sure it is stainless on the inside. It is hard to clean but the coffee was good.

Nine Cups???
Easy to operate, easy to clean but, It makes "one" normal sized cup of coffee!

Stainless steel is so much better than plastic
We enjoy this coffee maker very much. We have a smaller version for single person use, but this one is nice when we entertain. My only concern is the lid which is somewhat wiggly at the hinge. I hope it endures, and we will try to be careful as we use it.
