Just what I wanted!
Took about 3 weeks, but when my beans came, they were as advertised. Fresh, delicious, need no soaking, short cooking time. Make sure to pick over first.

Excellent Beans - Interesting Story
Excellent beans! I can purchase 1 pound bags at my local grocery store, so I thought I would buy this for a larger supply. Here is a funny story. I recently traveled to Utah. On the way, the highway to get there is 160 in Colorado going west towards Utah. I was (what I thought) in the middle of nowhere, and needed gas. There was a little grocery store with a gas station I stopped in to fill up. As I looked around the store, I saw this very same bag of Anasazi beans, 10 pound bags and even 25 pound bags. The cost was less than 1/3 of what I paid on Amazon, so I bought four 10 pound bags, and some of the large bags of pinto beans. As I was loading them into my car, I was reading the bag, "Adobe Milling Company, Dove Creek, Colorado". Come to find out, I was in Dove Creek, Colorado (it is a tiny town) and didn't even realize I was across the street from the company who grows and packages these beans. What a coincidence! So overall, the price on here is ridiculously expensive, but unless you will be traveling through Dove Creek, CO (and if you do I recommend stocking up), I guess you can buy them here on Amazon. Too bad the seller is price gouging.

Fresh beans of a rare type I came to love in New Mexico
These are the king of beans imo, creamier than pinto and a treat in any Mexican recipe or just as a good bowl of beans woth some homemade red chile sauce. Pick through for stones, soak overnight with 1T baking soda in plenty of water, drain, rinse and cook with a few T of EVOO and a bay leaf or two, but NO SALT. Some will not soak in baking soda because these are fresh after all, but it does amp up the luxuirous creaminess of these fantastic beans. I also immediately seal portions of dry beans in food saver vacuum-sealed pouches for long term freshness. These are hard to come by

Zero floaters!
I cooked a pound and a half of these beans in my Instant Pot today and they're not lying when they say they are good. DEElicious! They are on the small side, sweeter than Pintos, creamy and delectable. For Instant Pot: I cooked dry beans for 20 minutes, high pressure, with a 20-minute natural release. I added 4 thick slices of bacon and some Knorr granulated chicken bouillon to taste to the pot. Perfect. I was a bit surprised to find that the burlap bag did not have a plastic lining. They were quite dusty so they need to be cleaned very well. I placed them inside a strainer and placed the strainer inside a big pot of water and swished them well, then I dumped the dirty water and repeated the process a few times until the water was clear. Don't hesitate to try these wonderful beans!

Love these beans
I love these beans. They are more tender and cook faster than pinto beans so I use them in any recipe that calls for pinto beans. They are also higher in protein and fiber. I can't find a local source so I'm glad I can get them on Amazon. The box arrived pretty beat up but the sack of beans inside was undamaged.

Historic Beans that are good and good for you.
Beans grown from a two or three hundred year old basket of beans found in a cliff dwelling. Really good beans and marvelous history. Beans are better for you than pinto beans and cook easier. You can't go wrong.

Best Tasting Bean I've ever tasted
Not only do they taste really good - slightly sweet, they don't need to be soaked, cook up fast, have great protein! I love these beans - anceint bean found stored in cliff dweller Anasazi Indian caves. Adobe company is only place I know to get them and theydo a great job of cleaning the beans, also.
