Looked at many lights, and stupidly ordered three by mistake (I often put options in my Cart, and must have unknowingly done that three times for this light). The ease of installation, good construction, and simple setup and use convinced me to put a second light at the front of our house, and the third in the rear. Unless your use is for disco, the only usable options are fixed color or "smooth" color transitions, which I'm using in the front over the Christmas holidays. The three remotes all work on all lights, which is handy. You have to point them at the light, and the range might be limited to perhaps 25 feet. All settings, including for the six brightness levels, are stored - so when my timers go on, the lights retain their last setting. Depending on color, they're probably the equivalent to 150W incandescent light, but the light is distributed over a wide range, so it's hard to estimate. This suits my purposes well, as I wanted illumination but not 'full daylight' - and in fact use a middle brightness setting. I've only had them running for two weeks without any issues.

Worked but RGB banding around edges of light.

This is very bright and is built like a tank (I couldn't believe how rugged it felt). However, given the fact that it has RGB LEDs I would have expected more available color choices. Since it must be controlled via the provided remote, you must not lose it, else it will be stuck in the previous mode forever.I purchased it for photography lighting, but the LED refresh rate is too low for that (visible flicker in results). I decided not to return it because it would look great outside. It would be better if it had a toggle control on the actual light, and separate Red/green/blue intensity controls for full color adjustment.

I've purchased three of these over the past year. The first one is already dead. Remote only works when it's within a few feet of the light and the water proofing is marginal. Won't be buy Loftek again.

Why didn’t I buy this before?! Good power, easy to program modes. Sturdy—I have this and a 30watt Loftek in a rock garden, light slipped off a tripod onto a rock and still works like a charm. It’s exposed to my sprinkler systems that run 3 times a day without any issues.As I mentioned I have 2nand will buy another. I highly recommend Loftek products.There is one really nice oddity, the lights go on by themselves as it gets dark (at dusk). I have no clue why and I wasn’t aware in the product specs or description that this was a feature I have them running on a timer, but only to switch off it to turn on!Anyone else experience this?

Extremely nice product. Excellent Quality. We have been using it every night to highlight our Christmas decorated house. Really does the job!!!

Lasted less than a year. Now won't turn on. Buy something else.

Great efficient and colorful LED light - plug-in with remote BUT no on/off switch on the unit - loose the remote and no light!Some of the colors are really great but edge effects from 3 LEDs are unusual. White is not super bright. It does need a dedicated socket as it has no battery.
