Quality product !
Satisfied ! installed it a few weeks ago. This is my first experience with a syntace product, and so far a positive one. This was a replacement for my FSA OS which I decided was a little too long for me (120mm). The 100mm F109 Stem seems to be well made, nicely finished and looks great, although the carbon face plate of my FSA did provide a visual advantage over the twin hollowed out aluminium semicircles used on the F109, but i guess the paring off of 50 grams had to come from somewhere. Installation went smoothly and there's no notice of flexing while riding, despite the ridiculousely light weight of the stem. I'm happy.

Great Product, Great Company
This stem was as advertised. It is very light...yet, I think I and others can be confident that it will hold up knowing that Syntace is confident enough in their own product to offer a 10 year warranty! This is an aluminum part but they even offer the same warranty on carbon parts (I bought the P6 Hi-flex seat post)! I would recommend being extremely careful tightening the titanium bolts that come with this stem. If you follow the directions, using a torque wrench, and don't tighten them beyond 6nm you will be fine. If you don't have torque wrench or just don't want to hassle with it you should get some steel bolts. I forgot and was thinking it was 9nm and I snapped one off. If you've never tried to get a titanium bolt with no head on it out of a threaded hole take my advice...you don't want to. Nevertheless, the Syntace rep was VERY accomodating and sent me a new stem!!!. One other thing I like about this stem is the "snap fit feature". My bars actually snap in allowing for easy adjustment before tightening the bolts.

I bought this to match my new Syntace Seatpost and was gladly surprised!
Guys, the quality of this thing is amazing. It's extremely stiff (I'm 210lbs and I ride my bike hard). It comes with nice Ti hardware and a nice stem cap! Oh, and it's also flip-flop (you can use it upside down for negative rise). I did replace a 110mm Thompson X4 stem with this one and to my surprise the Syntace was about 8% longer. This wasn't an issue because I was between a 110 and 120 anyway, but be aware of this when buying.

Is this the lightest 120 mm stem in the world? Maybe.
I'm going to write this review before I start using the stem, letting the other reviewers cover things like ride quality (stiffness, etc.). I will just say that I don't believe there's another stem on the market that compares in terms of light weight and good design for the money (about $60-65). Definitely the equal of many stems costing 3x more. And I like the way Syntace tests their parts.

Pricey, but very ergonomic
My cockpit is Syntace, and it got me though Race Across America in first place among Masters racers. The stem, bar, and helical aerobar are really well thought-out to allow loose hand positioning in a natural wrist position. I was in this cockpit for 800 miles in a stretch sometimes, and never had any wrist or finger issues, unlike others I've used.

Hey, it works and it's light
Not sure how much criticism one could give a stem but this product it quite well made, fit perfectly on my carbon bars and looks good.
