Not sure. Hope ok. Mayo Clinic recommends this supplement for osteo arthritis. They Don't name a brand.

How large are the pills? I've tried different brands and so far all are "horse pills.

NOT a horse pill. Small pill and easy to swallow.

Why does this pill have to have coloring in it? It would be more tempting without added coloring chemicals which are unnecessary

I do not know. If you are really concern, call the manufacturer. I suspect they put coloring due to some regulations.
