No. This cannot be used in high temp applications. Max temp is 550f. An exhaust flue could easily triple that temp.

Can u use this as plumbers tape?

Yes, it is "Teflon" tape (polytetrafluoroethylene) it is just oxygen safe. It has no oils which can be found in standard Teflon tape. So it is approved for medical gas piping.
