100 Years of Passion for Grosse and Bijoux Christian Dior: Henkel & Grosse Jewellery Hardcover – December 16, 2010

Just wonderful to see the lovely pieces created by Henkel & Grosse, the book is about the quality and artistry of the jewelry made fro the House of Dior, and what jewelry! Once you see the colors, which I am sure is a lot better on the real thing, and the design, materials used, you know it is indeed Haute Jewelry. I would highly recommend it to anyone in the bijoux business or is a collector of paste jewelry, it makes you understand the difference between what is couture and what is ordinary.

It seems to be the only book that I can find about German jewelry industry in early twentieth century?

Very disappointed with this book. There are no current values for vintage jewelry. The book devotes a lot of space to Dior Jewelry which I realize Grosse made a lot of. However I own a lot of the Grosse Jewelry and was hoping to see current values on the vintage pieces. Some interesting information on the Henkel & Grosse history and processes.
