Great quality TV, highly recommended ! Great value for money!
This is a great TV, excellent resolution and refresh rate, it's my gaming TV. Very easy to uninstall the live TV apps from the phone with the freeview app, because I am not paying TV licence and I never watch live TV, I mainly use it for games and some on demand TV, but never live...great colours, sound, easy to install, it has almost everything...it has bluetooth, wifi connectivity...it is very light in weight, if I had a bigger lounge I would definitely go for 100 inch diagonal...maybe I need to buy a bigger house.. anyway, just to be clear, this is Chinese stuff, but easily matches South Korean Samsung TV, or others like Panasonic etc and the price is unbeatable...I recommend the Pro version, of course, otherwise it is probably just falling into the mundane. Comes with 2 year warranty which is not shown on Amazon, probably because it is easily extended to so much many years of warranty with very little money. Overall, great purchase, let me know if you have any questions about the PRO version only, I do not know about other versions, sorry. The only thing this TV does not have is to play console games ( e g x box games) without the console, but luckily I have the console already...I know TVs who have this feature, but they are at least 5 times more expensive and still are not as good as a Xbox x game console...which means in the end, I am the winner with having the console already and this great TV to complement it!!!

Hisense lead the way with quality TVs at an affordable price.
After my 12 year old 55" LG TV packed up the other day I needed to look for a replacement quickly. I had done some research in the past and saw that Hisense TVs have now caught up with the likes of LG and Samsung with their QLED technology. So after looking at Which magazine reviews I opted for a Hisense 65A7QTUK. Although the price was slighter higher, I was guaranteed next day delivery through Amazon. The TV was delivered today by AIT home delivery with no problems at all. I received a delivery slot by text the night before and a phone call an hour before delivery and when he arrived the delivery driver let me open the package to confirm there was no damage before he left. The TV is easy to assemble, even for one person, but I would recommend two people if you are unsure and with most smart TVs once it is switched on it sets itself up with ease. My main input is Sky Q and I am absolutely delighted with the picture quality. The TV is also HDR compatible. The sound is OK on its own but is a little "Tinny" which is helped by adjusting the bass setting. You will get better sound if you have a sound bar connected to your Sky Q box. Overall I am really delighted with this TV. It is certainly on a par with its better known rivals and at a much more affordable price. Its interesting as well that some of the 2025 Hisense models are selling cheaper than the 2024 models. Go on treat yourself. You won't be disappointed.

Great for live tv with no aerial
I got this tv due to its freely capability. Having just got rid of our paid for tv subscription service and no option of utilising a tv aerial, having the ability to watch live tv was a priority. The tv is great, the sound is good and the picture quality is excellent. The remote control is very responsive (this has been an issue on other tvs within the household) but so far so good with this Hisense tv. Freely works without any issues and we now have basic live tv with no subscription fee. Connect tv to internet, open freely app and away to go!! Just what we wanted. All other apps, bbc iplayer, Netflix etc also work great. This tv was value for money at half the price of our previous 50”. We have only one issue hence the reason for 4 stars not 5. Sometimes the tv won’t recognise anything connected via HDMI. We have a PS5 and firestick connected to separate HDMI ports. When selecting these devices the tv returns to Home Screen and doesn’t recognise the connected device and takes a few times of trying before it does. Having researched online to see if there is a fix, unfortunately it appears that this is a problem with many Hisense TV’s.

Great tv
Great picture and sound quality. Very easy to set up. You can change the channel with your phone, handy when you lose the remote. Nice thin frame on this tv. Great tv for the price.

Excellent value telly with smooth operating system
Upgrading from a tesco technika android telly that from day one had been frustratingly slow, this, four years later, only cost £15 more than the technika, runs very quickly on the Linux-based vidaa operating system and has a notably bigger, better screen. Built-in speakers have good volume for a bedroom and pictire/sound quality are very good indeed for this price point. Setting it up was easy - every app we added had a qr code to scan for ease of signing in, rather than having to type on an on-screen keyboard. For wall mounting, it is of note that it requires a 100w x 200d vesa bracket, which I hadn't come across before. This review is based upon a replacement - the first unit received unfortunately had a cracked lcd in a corner - replacement was here within 3 days of reporting it. Niggles are minimal so far - there are a lot of bloat ware apps pre-installed that you have to hide - the on-screen message suggests that uninstall is possible, but I think Tht is 9nly for user-added apps. Additionally, the included remote has specific buttons for (Lassard voice) many, many apps. Those buttons aren't customisable out of the box, (to, for example, have the button with the disney+ logo instead open iplayer) although I am led to believe that there is a remote button mapper app available for download - I am tempted to disable half of them to avoid accidental button presses in the dark opening something when grabbing the remote, or, if possible, to map a shortcut to the sleep timer to a button, as that is somewhat buried in the system settings otherwise. Other than that, not much to report yet - an excellent value telly with no deal breakers in the shortcomings - I presume the price of the unit is subsidised somewhat in exchange for the remote buttons, and so I won't complain too much, particularly if I can make them do what I want them to with a bit of hacking!

Good price but an appalling Home Screen and interface
When a company just does not get the ethos of customer experience you land up producing a product like this tv Positives The picture quality for the price is good value in my opinion Price is against good for the size and features of the tv Negatives 1.In standby mode there is a horrid white light that is annoying and harsh when it catches your eye I have visual issues and the light is definitely aggravating my condition. My previous Hisense to had a red light in standby that was very subtle and never caused an issue. 2. The amount of apps the to is pre installed with is outrageous it took me best part of 1 hour to uninstall all the ones I did not want very excessive and presumptive of Hisense to believe they should chose what u want rather than u choosing from the outset what apps u want. 3.Hisense have plastered the Home Screen wit widgets and displays for live tv programming despite me deleting all the live tv and streaming apps the tv displays copious amounts of watching live and personalised recommendations on what to watch live. It’s absurd and can cause issue for customers like myself who use the tv only for streaming services and games without any live tv or broadcasts or streams being viewed. As I don’t require a tv licence for my choice of viewing and use I should not be inundated with the unremovable features as they offer a opportunity to tv licensing to misinterpreting your viewing choices which can lead to attempted prosecution if you don’t have a tv licence in the uk. 4.the overall appearance of the Home Screen is messy cheap and defiantly outside the control of personalised choice there are apps and widgets all over the place and sub menus with additional sub menus ect ect the older version of menus on my previous hisence tv was much more simple and controllable within certain limits. The game mode on the tv creates a unacceptable amount of fluttering on some of my games I never had this issue previously on my other Hisense tv 6 the remote control is ugly and cluttered again Hisense has opted to put a 10 button tray at the top of the controller in white for all the preloaded apps they believe are your favourites in essence they have just made the controller and their products look cheaper and for some customers more complex than it needs to be . Attached are photos that show even after I remove an app such as bbb iplayer from my tv it still gives bbc iplayer content on my Home Screen and the app is able to be signed in to from clicking on any of the program recommendations so I assume the delete function only functions as a hide from your app menu I n summary I would not recommend this tv to anyone .

Reasonable picture quality and value, but some issues with the software.
I've owned this set for a few months and knew it was a budget set. The key aspect was Freely, which I've got on my Fire TV and it's good. Freely lets you watch higher EPG number channels in 'almost' HD quality, rather than them looking like a dial-up stream from the early 2000's. It also integrates with all your domestic streaming apps, allowing you to create a useful playlist when there's nothing on the telly. You can plug UHF into this set, but it slows the operation down significantly and you'll unplug it to save your sanity. Sadly, the Hisense implementation of Freely is problematic. Often it won't load or there's no sound. The fix is to cycle the power at the mains. Freely works fine on my Fire TV and I've only needed a reboot a couple of times, since new. I hoped Hisense would push an update to fix this, but there's been no improvement. If you don't watch linear television and only stream VOD content, ignore what I've written as it won't matter. The other thing to be aware of, is the continual 'phone home' the set does. You'll want to turn off the ACR setting, which sends a screen grab of what you're watching back to Hisense and it's 'trusted' partners, for advertising purposes. Overall, it's okay, but it may be useful to use this as a 'dumb' set and plug-in a second-hand Apple TV or similar device.
