I use to mix 12.1 with a little of 12.2. But I noticed that 12.1 is no longer blue. Why?

I’m not sure why they changed it but I have used it and get a good result.. still has ash tones

I always buy it for toned smokey highlights on super-light hair. It doesn't leave yellow casts on the hair and has a uniform shine, so the hair has the same pearly ash tone from root to tip.
