I have tried both the tan and clear versions of these strips and I think both have their uses. First I will list the similarities between the two: - both are much larger than I expected. I am using them for a scar on the side of my nose and I cut them to the correct size. I can get about 5 uses out of one strip. This makes their price much more reasonable. - Both last about a day for me. The packaging says you can leave them on for up to 10 days, but I exercise, work outside, and sweat a lot, so I tend to take them off each day. I think that if you wanted to shower in them, the clear ones would be better as they would not hold water. The tan ones have the texture of a cloth band-aid and hold water when they get wet. - Both are equally comfortable to wear. I have a latex allergy and very sensitive skin and have had no issue with either. Tan Strips: - These are easier to use than the clear ones. It is much easier to get the backing off the strip and to apply it because it is thicker than the clear strips. - The texture of them is different, very much like a cloth band-aid - Due to their thickness, they don't seem to stick quite as well as the clear strips. However, I am using them on my nose, which has a crease. They may stick better on flat skin. - I like to use these when I work outside because they provide sun protection. I was told that it is very important to keep sun off of scars, and my scar is on my face. You cannot put sunscreen on underneath these strips as they won't stick, so using the clear strip means that your scar will be exposed to the sun. The tan strips block the sun well. Clear strips: - These are much more discrete than the tan strips. When you are wearing one that area is a bit shiny, but otherwise they are quite invisible. - It is VERY difficult to remove the backing from the clear strips and once the backing is off, they tend to roll and stick to themselves. With practice you will get better, but it will always be a challenge. - These seem to stick slightly better to curves and creases (e.g. the side of the nose) than the thicker tan strips. - I wear these when I want to be discrete and not have an obvious bandage on my face.

I am a believer! These scar sheets are amazing. I had a spot removed on my calf that resulted in a 2+ inch long scar. I have been using these every day since the skin healed (after stitches were removed) and it is truly amazing how quickly the scar is healing. The lower leg is the slowest to heal, so I didn't have high hopes for a speedy recovery. Only 4 weeks later and there is no redness/discoloration and the scar softens more each day. I highly recommend!

i ordered this one, the clear version and gel. out of 3 products, i like this one the best. it is easier to apply and more durable than the clear sheets. it helps with scar healing and itchiness in dry winter, mostly the sheet protects my incision scar from rubbing against the clothing.

I have been using these for over a year after various surgeries and I like how they protect the scar from friction with clothing and help with healing.
