I don't normally write reviews. But when I do - I hope they matter. In reality what we want is a chair that feels like you are sitting on a kings throne. You want to feel comfortable, at ease, and not only that, but you want your throne to feel sturdy and make you confident in the materials. This chair, does all that, but more. This chair costs only 300 and some change, but every single part about it is definitely worth it that cost. Why spend more when you can own luxury only a king can feel!? Well now YOU can feel it too and you don't have to spend 1500 to have true luxury. I am a computer programmer for a living, and I spend 12+ hours in my chair: this is the chair I chose and I LOVE it. I look at it and it's brilliant. I sit in it, and it's so comfortable. Yes, I understand the seams may only last a year, or 2, and I'm okay with that because this is what I want and need right now. It's PERFECT. Don't even hesitate. It's awesome despite the minor stitching issues - if you are over 250 lb maybe choose something else. . . but only because of the quality control issues. I'm in love with this Chair, and you will be too! This is coming from me - someone who hardly ever writes a review. Trust me. It's awesome and SO comfortable once you adjust it to your liking. ENJOY ! I do, every day and night !

I love this chair. It is so comfortable and luxurious. It feels like you gain magical powers just by sitting in it. It feels like I am sitting on a Kingdom's throne. Once I learned which hole the base went into then it was smooth sailing. Very easy to assemble and it corrects your posture which is a plus. This chair really is THE BOSS!!

look nice at first, but not real wood. some kind of plaster or light wood that scratches easily. finish is just paint

I needed to replace my office chair that has been dragged around the country for the past decade through many moves with the Army. I recently retired and have a nice home office that is 1940's inspired. I thought this would go great. The chair came as advertised. Super easy to assemble, all I had to do was put it down in the base rollers and it was good to go. Its firm and comfortable. It does not lean back (which is nice because I like being able to stretch out and not lay back in the process like I'm going to take a nap). I'm pretty much satisfied with it. The only minor, tiny, little, insignificant problem is that it is very slightly smaller then I thought it would be. Not terribly, but just minutely .

This is my second one...first one lasted like 5 years then started to peel but was still a great buy. I love the size and scale as it fits in a small space and still is luxurious. We'll see how it wears in time. More to follow. This chair is NOT like my first one that I had for over 5 years.....don't know what they did but is most uncomfortable, cannot sit for any length of time without discomfort....it looks the same but does not feel the same and is troubling on the back and buttocks.

Wanted a chair that look traditional but did not want to pay the price of a leather chair. This chair was easy to assemble, only two parts. Looks great. The Vinyl is holding up well even after use. Love the feel and cushion of this chair. Swivels smoothly. Holds up under indirect sunlight without fading (although I am sure over time it will fade, but it is in the light of the West sun and has not faded in months). If you dont want to spend an arm and a leg but want the traditional classy look this is a great chair.

I've had this chair for 4 years and it sees heavy use. All of my hobbies are done while sitting in this chair: video games, playing guitar, watching movies, internet shopping/surfing. I also work from home 2 days a week and I am sitting in this chair during that time as well. The chair is still comfortable, but worn. The leather is cracking on the seat around where your thighs would be and the chair creaks quite a bit when shifting around in it. I have temporarily fixed the creaks by applying gun oil from time to time, but I gave up because it was just too frequent to bother. Pros: The chair is comfortable, sturdy and looks great. Cons: The leather cracks after some time and it begins to break.

Nice chair BUT - sits very high on lowest setting and arm rests are very low. No shoulder support. Would not buy again.
