So the concept is good but they only put 2 small rivets to hold the sand screw in to the pole. The first little bit of wind bent the plastic sand screw off the pole. I was so disappointed because the umbrella itself is pretty strong. They also made me repackage the umbrella. (Instead of taking it to Kohl’s) which added to the disappointment.

I don't know if I like this umbrella yet... It is very convenient to have the sand anchor and i'm not sure if the sand I used it on was too fine but... it was not easy to get it anchored... and the umbrella did not hold up to the wind so I could not use it... but while it was struggling it was nice to use the towel clip.

I was tired of chasing wind-swept beach umbrellas and finally found a solution with this purchase. I really liked how easy it was to carry - in it's own case, put together, and anchor deep into the sand. It also comes with cup holders, sturdy and sealable phone cases, and hooks for your towels. We were heading back to Fiji and wanted to have our own umbrella so we could prop it up on the beach and have our own quiet little slice of paradise. This worked great! I was able to pack it in my surfboard bag. The umbrella was easy to set-up, anchored well in the sand and stood up to some pretty good winds. BTW, the water-proof phone cases also came in really handy. The photo is from our trip.... we'll be packed it again next time for sure!

Worked great even with high wind on beach. The hooks and cup holders weighs it and makes it lean to one side. I think i needed something alittle bigger. Maybe got 1 chair in shaded area.

The tip that goes in to the sand broke on my second time using the umbrella. And there is no way to contact the seller for a replacement

The umbrella pole connection joint (as stated in the product description has been updated - I found this not to be true). I lived on the beach numerous years and used many umbrellas - this one is very cheaply made and the connection will last one day if no wind. Add breezy conditions and expect a failure. Don't waste your money buy a more robust unit unless you want sunburn.

This umbrella holds up well in the wind. The anchor is a nice touch. The hooks didn't come with it which was a bummer but I still consider it a good purchase
