Super disappointed with this product. It does not mix well with cold water, it mixes better wtih warm/hot. I have to blend it hard on high for 2-3 min to completly dissolve in cold water. I am not a fan on this powder at all. Using it for a detox cleanse and found it way to gritty even when drinking it and the texture was horrible with a horrible taste for me.. Adding Ceylon cinnamon, Raw cocoa or Stevia green powder liquid helped the taste. Still had that nasty gritty texture. I ended up with the plain no flavor. I don’t like the grit/ taste or texture . It is really hard to find organic ingredients of just one and not with other processed seed oils . I was happy about that. If you’re a fan of rice products, this may be for you but it was not for me. No refunds available. I would have taken it back for refund. I was able to digest it well hence I’ll keep using it up. Adding those few flavors helped tolerate this product more. The grit and texture WOW just too much. Pumpkin seed protien powder was much better and going back to my other brand

I love this rice protein and have been using it for more years than I can remember. I always use the plain powder. That's what I ordered this time but what I received was Vanilla that was marked as Plain on the outside plastic wrap. Rather than go through the hassle of contacting the seller and returning it, we decided to keep it and use it when possible and it doesn't interfere with the flavor of what we make.

I have a neurological disease that has paralyzed my digestive tract. I live on liquid nourishment. Nutribiotic is my favorite protein powder. It does not cramp me up like whey, and the flavor is milder than hemp. There are no fillers, thickeners, stabilizers, flavorings, soy, lactose, gluten, fiber, inulin, or stevia - just organic rice protein! I make multiple shakes with any combo of homemade almond milk, the Nutribiotic powder, Rainbow Vibrance, Green Vibrance, Raw Cacao Powder, organic raw almond butter, organic coconut oil, a pouch of Peter Rabbit organic baby food purée, homemade yogurt from raw, grass fed whole milk, fish oil, coconut water, and/or green tea. Sometimes I'll add fresh squeezed organic juices as my liquid base - spinach, kale, cucumber, papaya, zucchini, blueberries - whatever will help me get a balanced intake of nutrients and antioxidants. My shakes are delicious! If I get a sour piece of fruit or vegetable, I may add a thin drizzle of organic grade b maple syrup, but I love the protein powder. It has a bit of a rice cake aftertaste, and blends up very quickly. I use an Oster personal blender (the blending container is a bottle you can drink out of), and 3-5 pulses is all that's needed. No grit, no clumping. I buy it monthly and am very grateful for companies that offer healthy, tasty, 'clean' supplements. I just hope they don't discontinue it or add anything else to it.

I have been looking for quite awhile for a protein powder that didn't have ingredients in it that I am allergic to. This one is just plain, pure, raw rice powder according to the label. NOTHING else! To me, it doesn't taste bad at all. I bought plain and I add it to things like my coconut milk for cereal. I put a bit of vanilla in it and it tasted great. Some people thought it was chalky, from my perspective, it might be a bit chalky, but I personally think when it's mixed with fruit, or coconut milk etc. that whatever 'chalkiness' there is, is acceptable. And I find that it dissolves quickly in my shaker bottle. I would buy Rice Protein from Nutribiotic's again, BUT I would buy the 100% grown in the USA rice product. I didn't know they had this until after I ordered this one. It says it's 100% certified organic and it's probably okay. However, it doesn't say on the jar where the rice is sourced from. Whereas their other product specifically says USA. I don't trust products from China in particular, so I'd prefer one that says it's 100% from the USA. Otherwise, this is a great product in my estimation.

Ok, let's get real ... rice proteins don't taste great ... BUT ... there are compromises if you need to avoid Whey. With that said, I have tried A LOT of products out there and wasted A LOT of money - and I am glad I stumbled across this one. I tried SunWarrior Rice Protein and thought it was really gross in comparison to this ... this is the best rice protein so far in my experience and the price point is MUCH better. The taste is typical "of rice protein" - and I gave up on all the fancy flavors (i.e., fake, nasty vanilla) and decided to go the DIY method. I use all plain protein powders (i.e., rice, hemp, pea) and then add fresh/frozen fruits - raw cacao powder and some natural sweeteners to taste - and the result is pretty good. Most importantly, I know exactly what the hell is in it ... and don't have to research weird ingredient lists ... a little extra work - but you get out - what you put in ... and it only takes 1-2 minutes really ... but after losing 130+ lbs ... I have realized that convenience is our greatest enemy.
