What is the diameter of this lid?

The lid that I have by anchor hocking is 7 1/2 inches in diameter.

Does this fit mixing bowls? Or only "food storage" containers?

They are food storage lids specifically for 2 x 7 cup / 1.7 L of the food storage containers. I don't think the mixing bowls have the same dimension, e.g. 1.7L.

I need replacement lids. However my lid measures 6” and my bowl holds 3 cups of liquid. Which lid do I need??

The six inch container holds 4 cups of liquid therefore you need the six inch kid. By the way The Anchor Hocking lids a superior to the Pyrex lids. The make a better seal and they fit the Pyrex containers.
