Tool Lubricant (F 980) - Biodegradable Synthetic Maintenance Product Spray Grease,Red, Black

Really did a great job lubricating my pruners. Did not realize how still they had been.

There are great videos online to walk you through Felco maintenance. I tuned up my 3 Felcos and it was well worth the time. This Lubricant is critical to that process. A great product.

Reviewed this one before- purchased as a gift to go with Felco pruners. A must for maintaining an excellent tool. Keeps it functioning smoothly, and protects the surfaces.

Very effective at cleaning garden tools along with the other Felco products. I was able to clean my prune sheers and they look like new.

The Felco Lubricant was AMAZING! I had 2 pairs of clippers that I couldn't budge. I couldn't get any of the pieces apart at all. Soaked them with this lubricant and I was able to get them moving, strip the clippers, clean and sharpen them, and they are like new! SImply awesome. Highly recommend.

I haven't used this lubricant very much, yet. So far, so good. I was unhappy about the condition of the spray can - it was smashed in on the back side that you couldn't see in the packaging.

Need to protect the Felco trimmers. Figured a spray from them would be a good idea.

After each pruning session in garden/yard, I clean my Felco pruner blades with a toothbrush and soapy water, allow to air dry, and spray hinge and blades with this lubricant. It's a nicely working system, so I will continue to buy this product. Expensive compared to WD40 but want to take care of pruners, so I go with this product rather than take a chance.

I have been a long time user and fan of WD40 (and still am) but I thought I would give this a go for my Felco secateurs. I have always thought that manufacturers want to produce the very best accessories for their products but I did have to think twice before I paid £17.45 for a small can of oil, which is getting on for the price of printer ink ! In the end I gritted my teeth and bought it and I am glad I did ! Firstly I noticed there was no little tube to direct the spay from the nozzle, so I held a paper towel behind the secateur blade before spaying, but I was glad to find it was a manual pump action and not gas powered which ALWAYS wastes a lot of oil.. take note WD40 ! It gives really good protection to my Felco blades and I have used it on my non-Felco secateurs too to great effect. Felco secateurs are second to non, and about 90% of professional gardeners use them, and therefore they deserve the very best treatment that will keep then running at peak efficiency, so really this oil is a must ! It IS too expensive for general use, and I will still use WD40 for that, but now I will always use this for my secateurs and loppers ! Just wish it was a little cheaper though.

Rezension betrifft FELCO Spray 980. ✅ Der Spray FELCO verhindert Rost und entfernt Rost gleichermaßen! ✅ Spray entfernt Baumharz, ist aber unmittelbar nach der Nutzung anzuwenden. ✅ Der Spray ist optimal für Gartenscheren, Astscheren und Heckenscheren. ✅ Der Spray schmiert die Geräte und schützt vor übermäßigem Verschleiß ✅ Die Haftung ist nach einer geringfügigen Einwirkzeit als gut zu bezeichnen. ✅ Die Materialkosten sind überschaubar, da wenige Spritzer ausreichend sind. ❌ Der Spray 980 (Öl) ist sehr dünnflüssig direkt nach dem Aufsprühen. ❌ Im Zusammenspiel mit Feuchtigkeit hat Öl Probleme ausreichend zu benetzen. Rezension betrifft FELCO Fett 990. ✅ Das FELCO Fett 990 kann mit einer wirksamen Schutzschicht aufgetragen werden. ✅ Durch die Konsistenz und Zähigkeit ist die Gefahr, das zu dünn aufgetragen wird gering. ✅ Das FELCO Fett 990 schmiert sehr gut und verringert den Verschleiß. ✅ Bei längerer Nichtbenutzung von Gartenscheren ist Fett effektiver als Öl. ✅ Die Haftung direkt nach dem Auftragen kann als sehr gut bezeichnet werden. ✅ Diese FELCO Fett 990 Fett ist ein wasserabweisendes Hochleistungsprodukt. ✅ Dieses Fett ist frei von flüchtigen organischen Verbindungen (z.B.: Lösungsmittel). ❌ Das Fett ist in Punkto Korrosionsschutz dem ölhaltigem Spray total unterlegen. ❌ Für die Entfernung von Baumsäften oder Baumharz ist das Fett nicht geeignet. Fazit: Der Spray FELCO 980 ist ein Öl und lässt sich, durch die Spraydose, sauber und schnell auftragen. Das Fett FELCO 990 erfordert hier mehr Zeit und sorgfältiges Auftragen, damit man auch überall hinkommt wo Schmierung und Rostschutz gewährleistet werden müssen. Natürlich schneide ich Hecken und Bäume nur wenn es absolut trocken ist. Die Geräte können dann unmittelbar nach der Arbeit geschmiert werden. Ansonsten müsste ich mit der Wartung warten bis die Feuchtigkeit weg ist um dann den Harz und den Saft mittels Öl zu entfernen. Das FELCO 990 ist ein Allzweckfett, daher nicht so gut wie spezielle Fette gegen Rost. Der Spray FELCO 980 ist direkt nach dem Auftragen etwas dünnflüssig und braucht etwas Zeit um zu haften. Die Benetzung ist gleichmäßig. Ein sehr guter Rostschutz ist gewährleistet. Das Fett FELCO 990 ist mit seiner Zähigkeit sofort anhaftend und als Langzeitkonservierer gut zum Beispiel über den Winter. Diese bewerteten Schmiermittel, Reinigungsmittel und Rostverhinderer sind nun im fünften Jahr in meiner Nutzung und nicht alle haben gleichermaßen überzeugt, bzw. jeder hat seine Vorteile und seine Nachteile. Das Spray ist dünnflüssig direkt nach dem Aufsprühen und läuft von der Klinge weg. Aber in Punkto Rostschutz ist dieses Öl dem Fett total überlegen. Als Referenz wurde auch das P980 für Gartenscheren mit verwendet. Auch hier war der Schutz gegen Korrosion sehr gut. Es bleibt eine Gewissensfrage. Bei längerem Nichtbenutzen würde ich das Fett nehmen und direkt nach der Arbeit das Öl. ►ANMERKUNG: Um möglichst hilfreiche nützliche Rezensionen zu veröffentlichen, bewerte ich Produkte stets erst nach längerem Gebrauch. Ich selbst empfinde solche Bewertungen aussagekräftiger und Mängel sind oft erst nach längerem Gebrauch zu erkennen.

Ottimo lubrificante, ma sono rimasto deluso dalla quantità del prodotto mi aspettavo una bomboletta un po' più grande.
