Wow, I'm spoiled
A family member recently added a bidet to their home guest bathroom and I was a little anxious to try it. But I appreciated the seat heater and the idea of having a cleaner bathroom experience. That said, we decided to buy one and now, I'm spoiled. When we had a toilet paper shortage in the US (and the world), many people started buying a bidet, and it makes sense why people did that. Now I want this bidet on all the toilets in our home. We will have to add an electrical outlet in one bathroom, but it will be worth it! You won't regret buying this. I hung the one-page cheat sheet instructions near the convenient wireless remote pad. The various settings allow for all types of cleaning, from quick to deep clean. Being able to change the temperature and spray angles options on the seat are a nice personal touch. As a female, it was easy for me to install without hiring anyone to do the job, the instructions are simple. If you are on the fence whether to buy one, this one is great, quality materials and great performance.

Expensive, but worth every penny
North American culture needs to catch up in a lot of things, but ESPECIALLY personal hygiene. This is the second identical unit I've purchased after 10 years of constant use (and abuse). The previous unit simply wore out but worked very well for almost it's entire service life.If you want something that is life changing - get a bidet like this one. You'll never go back to wiping like a savage after this.

Great product
I was hesitant to buy this because a) I didn't know whether it is going to work in typical washroom in Canada, b) I didn't know whether I can install it by myself and c) whether it is as good as the toilets in Japan. Having been a user of the product for about a week, my answer to all these questions is YES, YES & YES. The toilet seat will work in your washroom as long as your washroom has power outlet and fresh water supply. The power cord is a little bit short so an extension cord may be needed. The installation is easy and the instruction is very clear; it takes me about 1 hour to install the toilet seat and fix any leaks. After a few "tries" of the toilet seat, I am very impressed with the functionalities: the heated seat, the water stream, etc. Some people commented that the hot water tank runs out of hot water pretty quickly. Personally, I have never had this issue. Maybe they are washing their butt for WAY too long! But, as a happy user of the Bio Bidet BB-1000S Supreme Advance Bidet Toilet Seat, I don't blame them!

Quality product and easy, straightforward installation.
The product is well made. It arrives well packaged with all parts easily identifiable. The installation is very simple. The printed instructions are easy to follow. You will need a 3-prong electrical outlet. Alternatively, the unit can be run using a heavy duty extension cord, which I did temporarily while awaiting installation of a new electrical outlet. I prefer the functionality of this unit over some more expensive options . Why? I prefer manually flushing the toilet (to conserve water) as opposed to an automatic flush. I also prefer having the manual seat lid on this unit rather than the automatic lid that opens whenever anyone walks into the bathroom. Unlike some reviewers, I also prefer that the unit does not light up. The two eco modes are also a plus. While running either the washing or drying functions, the unit operates quietly and without vibration. Other reviewers disliked the seat comfort. I find it comfortable. Overall, I highly recommend the product. If you are on the fence and questioning either the quality or the installation ease, have no doubts, you will be very pleased. I highly recommend this product.

Great... until it breaks and in-warranty service is nearly as expensive as buying another.
I bought this unit in late 2018 - single user household - thing is used once a day, maybe twice, being generous, and has been kept immaculately clean. It was great, and worked well.Around 2 years, 4 months into its life, suddenly it started failing with the same types of failures others have reported - all of which pointed to an issue with the CPU / control board in the thing going out. It started with the nozzle no longer retracting, so you'd get sprayed with a super powerful self-cleaning blast when it was supposed to be retracted. Then, it moved to being sporadic in retracting at all, or extending out to the set position. For a while, I could unplug it, wait 20 seconds, plug it back in, and it would reset and fix itself. After about a month of that, it moved on to resets not working either, and the problems progressed. The nozzle would come out fully instead of retracting after unplugging and replugging it, and it would start to spray water all over the bathroom, even without anyone on it. The factory reset shortcut no longer worked. I put some saran wrap on the toilet and put a hand on the seated person sensor so I could see what it was doing when I used the remote, and it was all over the place - pushing the button to move the nozzle forward would move it backwards, or not at all. Pushing the backwards button would move it forwards. Pushing the button to pulse the water in massage mode would make it move back and forth, as if the Move button was pushed, and pushing the Move button would do nothing at all.Clearly, this isn't just a case of a bad sensor as to the position of the head, but the electronics inside going completely out of their mind after a period of time, which points to a factory defect.I contacted Bio Bidet warranty service about this, and was told I'd need to send in the seat (at my own cost - getting a box and proper packing materials for something this size, plus shipping it ground, is going to cost almost $30), plus 50% of the price of the bidet (so $250), plus potentially another $35 "disinfection" fee, at their discretion. So, 28 months of use on a bidet this expensive, and the manufacturer requires close to $300 to repair what is clearly a problem in the design of the product. Based on other reviews here having the same problem, it doesn't appear there's been any redesign that will prevent this problem from coming back in another 2 years.Ask yourself this before buying or looking elsewhere: is $18 / mo for the first 28 months + $11 / mo for the next 2 years (in-warranty repair cost after it breaks in 2 years), after which you're completely out of warranty and need to repeat the cycle with a new unit something you really want to spend on a bidet?Look at competitors that stand behind their product instead.
