I’m extremely impressed with this 12V LiFePO4 battery. It’s lightweight, compact, and delivers reliable power far beyond what my old lead acid batteries could handle. The long cycle life and built in safety protections give real peace of mind, Easy to recharge and dependable.

This is NOT a good battery. I have used it 5 or 6 times now, and the voltage will drop unexpectedly at random times below 9 volts. I haven't put a meter on it when it drops, but my ham radio transceiver shows a low voltage, and a light comes on when voltage drops below 9 volts, and the signal sent from the transceiver is distorted. A minute or 2 later voltage is ok again, then it does the same thing again randomly. This is after having the battery fully charged and only using it under load for a short period of time. I have owned other brands of these type batteries that have lasted hundreds of charging cycles with no problems, but this one is not good at all. Don't waste your money on it!

Needed a battery to replace the old lead-acid battery for my underwater fishing camera system. This works awesome and is a lot more light weight and seems to have more capacity and battery life than the old lead acid battery.

What I like about this is its steady output and long-lasting power. It's very light compared to standard batteries I've used before. If it's true that this can by cycled thousands of times, then I expect many years of good use. I ran it with a couple string lights for several hours but apparently it didn't use much of its capacity since it recharged in less than an hour. Also, for the price it's a good value. There isn't much of a user's manual....it's more about warning of these kind of lithium batteries. I'm keeping it in the shed when not in use. I wish it came with it came with some kind of charging adapter.

This battery was well packaged by the manufacturer and it arrived in good condition (no damage) . When it arrived, it read 13.23 VDC which equates to a high state of charge for a 12V LiFePo4 battery. My Noco Genius 10 charger took only a few minutes to charge it to 100% and the battery stayed as cool as a cucumber. LiFePo4 battery chemistry is superior in almost every way to lead acid and at $16.99 (the price as I write this review) this LiFePo4 battery is less expensive than the Mighty Max ML7-12 batteries that I have been using for a few years. The batteries are the same physical size, with the Mighty Max ML7-12 claiming 7.2 AH versus the 8.0 AH claimed by this one. If this battery proves out and is reliable, I see no reason to ever buy glass mat sealed lead acid (AGM SLA) batteries again. I use this size AGM SLA batteries in several UPSes that I have and I usually purchase one to three of this style of battery per year. If this battery is a solid product, I expect that it will last 10-12 years instead of just 3-4 and also that it will carry a load for far longer because LiFePo4 batteries can be depleted much closer to 0% than SLA batteries without damaging them. As an added bonus, LiFePo4 batteries are considerably less heavy than SLA batteries, as shown in a couple of the attached pictures (2.1 lbs versus 5 lbs). My only early concern is trying to use these in a retrofit application, in UPSes originally designed for SLA batteries. I need to do some research on that before diving in, but that is my plan. I will report back on this review if I run into a problem or if this battery fails.

Ordered two 12V 8AH batteries. I fully charged both batteries and used them in my daughters power wheels. Went to recharge both batteries and only one will charge. I have tried to contact the manufacture but I am unable to reach them due to the product being fulfilled by amazon. I am really disappointed in the quality of these batteries. I now have only one working battery and questioning how long this one will last. Would like a way to contact the manufacture on how to replace the defective battery.

I tried this in my APC Back-UPS ES 725 (model BE725BB) but it failed the power-on test. I suspect that most of these lithium batteries will be the same so be sure to watch some of the many videos on YouTube explaining the use of these as replacements for SLA batteries in a UPS. There are other brands of these batteries on Amazon that have been proven to work with APC units (ask Rufus) although none specifically with my model that I can find. I will stick with a SLA battery for now and maybe by the time it dies, the lithium UPS story will have improved.

It is well built and has good terminals. It has a built in BMS (battery management system) and so can be charged via a number of different methods. We have an off grid cabin on our ranch that we use when working in the area. This type of battery is perfect for lighting, powering radios, small water pumps, electric fence chargers, deer feeders, and other small appliances. We charge these with a small solar panel and charge controller. We have used inverters with these but you have to be careful about the amount of power you draw. I don’t have the means to test the amperage, but feel it is probably close to the rating, and certainly good enough for the projects that we use it for. As I write this the price for this battery is $17. I think that this is an excellent product and an excellent price/value.
