If you're looking for a new PSP 1000 battery, this is it.
It arrived a lot later than was originally planned but when I did finally get it, it worked like a charm. It fits perfectly and holds a charge. I'm relieved to know this wasn't a scam. I'm thinking of purchasing another for a backup battery.

Terrible
Update on the using it for about a year. They suck, batteries should last alot longer than a year if designed correctly. I can get 10+ years out of my original PSP battery and even it can hold more charge than this battery and it’s not even a year old. Drains to 70% in not even a few days. Meanwhile my stock PSP battery which I bought this to replace due to age, holds 90% in that timeframe if not longer. Terrible construction and battery life, DO NOT BUY!

Good psp battery replacement
After much searching I came across these batteries. They come recommended all over the internet for a good psp battery replacement. So far so good. It takes and holds a charge without issue

Buy this one. I've tried a bunch. All that lasted only about 2 hours. This one lasts at least 6 of continuous play. Happy the search is over

Doesn't hold a charge
I would think the more expensive battery would perform better, but it doesn't hold a charge. Charged it fully then come back a few days later to a dead battery. Charged it today to 45%, came home from work hours later to find it at 28%.

Stopped charging
I read reviews on the replacement batteries. This one seemed to be the best.... But it stopped taking a charge after a few months...

Yes this fits the psp 3001 just fine and if you don’t mind it sticking out a bit then go with this one. I couldn’t get the battery back back on though because of the size so … I tried another brand before this and the dang psp wouldn’t stay on and the battery wouldn’t charge. So I bought a battery charger and that seem to work. I haven’t tried charging this is in the device yet so I can’t tell to if it works.

A great replacement battery for psp 1000. Ran it for 2 hours playing some hungry games and still had 54% left in it. Fits perfectly. Good price. Feels well constructed and not cheap.

Don't know how other people say they are getting 6 hours out of this. I got about 3hrs from a full charge and it shuts down without warning when it runs out
