Great breathable waterproof bibs!
I purchased the Shoreline Bibs to replace a pair of my Carhartt mid weight Rainstorm Bibs. I liked the idea that they would breathe and be cooler in thee summer time. I bought these to use for pressure washing and other dirty wet jobs around the farm. I normally wear these in place of my pants when doing such work. I weigh 240 and I am 6'1 tall and the large regular size fit me good without my pants on underneath, they will be ok with my pants on also, just a little snug. So far they have been great, they seem durable, and to me it doesn't seem like you sweat as much when wearing them. They only thing is I wish they were a lighter color than black, that would help them not absorb so much heat when working in the sun. I also think they will be great for those cool damp fall and spring days when working outside or even blowing snow in the wintertime when you don't need full on insulated bibs.

Carhartt Shoreline Waterproof Bib Overalls-high quality
These rain proof pants are finely finished and the large/short fits my 30 inch inseam really well. Movement when wearing pants was easy and free. The material feels smooth with a little stiffness in the outer fabric, but not overly stiff. The interior lining is smooth and slides over my blue jeans easily. The side zipper openings go from the hip to the bottom of the cuff or from the cuff to the hip for easy on/off. There is a wind/rain proof double flap over the side zippers also. The bottom of the legs have a double male snap to tighten the cuff around your boot to keep the cuff from dragging on the ground. I can't attest to the water proof ability as I haven't been able to get out into a rain to be able to judge that aspect. The only negative I've discovered (as I ordered these online) is that there are no pockets on the front of the hips. I guess to keep rain from getting in and filling the pocket with water. I would purchase these again with the quality I see.

Comfortable breathable work bibs
After sweating heavily in plastic bibs I wanted something breathable and these work great... I stay dry. So far I've worn these from freezing to about 70F and they are comfortable. I wish these had a few more pockets around the waist, but it isn't too hard to reach around to my pant pockets by unzipping side zippers. Front fly zipper is handy. Fabric is durable and knees are reinforced.I'm 6', 195#, and these are somewhat large which allows for wearing pants and fleece underneath. They also have long legs (long inseam) which at first worried me but with shoulder straps pulled up and boots on they just fit. However if you are shorter than 6' then leg length could be an issue. For me these fit well and are very comfortable to work in. I tried the Medium size which was far too small, and curiously had the same leg length. Others have commented on the long inseam.Haven't worn them in hard rain yet so can't comment on waterproofness.

Exactly what I needed!
I bought this for outdoor work, especially in the rain. I wore it outside in the rain for 4 hours in cool, windy conditions and it kept me dry and warm. The quality is high, as I expected from Carhartt. There were cheaper options out there but I'm extremely happy I spent the extra couple bucks on this. I'm 6'4 235lbs and I got an XL and it fits perfectly- not too loose and I can still fit layers underneath. My only complaint is there are not front or side pockets. There are two back pockets, one even zips, but I could have used a front pocket too. It does make a 'swish' noise when you walk, enough that I wouldn't use it for hunting but quiet enough that it's not annoying for working around the farm. All said and done, I give this item a 5 star hands down, I'm an extremely satisfied customer.

Great product, sizes run a little big
Nice mid-weight bibs. Comfortable and they shed the rain/snow wonderfully. I had some questions when I bought them about how warm/heavy they would be, so here are my answers: They are insulated enough that if I wear them over a pair of jeans, they keep me plenty warm in winter weather. I wore them in 15 degree F weather and was fine. However, I think they are light enough that I would not get overwarm in spring/fall weather. I am 6 foot tall, 200lbs, wear a 34x32 jean size and ordered the large size. They are a bit big on me....I probably could have gone with the medium. But, with the suspenders, I just kept these because too big is better than too small.Update: I ended up ordering the Medium, and find they fit much better. Also, I did wear them on a 40 degree day and they were not too hot.

Quality build and nice fit!
Just received the overalls. I have a long history of outdoor adventuring and am no stranger to quality gear. The kind you hang your life on. These overalls are obviously quality, and have many features that my technical clothing have. I did not buy them to climb mountains though but to work around our lodge in Yosemite National Park. We get very strong storms here, and lots of snow in the winter. I had used my cross country ski pants with suspenders for the last 2 years to clear snow and storm debris, but finally decided to by pants that are built for work around the property. These pants are great they have many useful pockets for tools and gear, something ski and mountaineering pants generally do not have. They are easy to put on and take off. No problem with lots of weight in the pockets, the bib overalls keep them up. I am 6'1, 192 lbs. and have a 36 waist with 30-31 inseam and the Large Short fit like a glove. Large might be too long. May post 5 stars after this winter, will see how they hold up.

Perfect for snow shoveling as a top layer
Read a lot of reviews about various overall types. I was disappointed to find that many I'm the price range I was comfortable with weren't truly waterproof and some reviewers complained a out getting soaked through. This is a perfect solution, with layers underneath, for shoveling / blowing in midwestern winters. Had these on when we had 14" of snow and sub zero temps. A pair of jeans and fleece pajama bottoms and a heavy hoodie and weatherproof Carhartt coat. I was set! Runs a little large, even with the straps pulled all the way in. 5'11" with 36 in seam. Definitely made for some bigger guys, I'm assuming.
