I’ve got to be honest with you. The primary driver in my purchase of these particular Mylar bags was their brand name; Wallaby! Now say it out loud….and again with an Aussie accent…Wallaby, Wallaby, Wallaby! It’s such a fun word to say and its easy on the ears too. I’m willing to admit that my peculiar nature makes my life difficult at times…I mean c’mon: Who orders something because they like to say the brand name out loud? Well, I’m happy to say that it worked in my favor this time around for sure! The 5 mil WALLABY! Mylar bags have worked perfectly and flawlessly for my food preservation activities. The thickness of these bags is impressive and leaves me resting assured that no haphazard mistake on my end is going to easily tear open these bags. Nice work WALLABY! The inclusion of stick-on labels and O2 absorbers is nice. Glad to have everything I need in one kit. I find it oddly gratifying to seal them up with an iron after filling them. The crisp, clean, new sealed edge (Wallaby, Wallaby, Wallaby) is indicative of how clean and crisp my food will remain while in storage. I’ll be ordering these again from WALLABY!, only this time around it will be because of the quality bags.

I came across Wallaby from an instagram homesteader. This is the brand if you want consistent quality products. When it comes to storing food long term, you need both quality and consistency. We have these bags inside of 5.5 gallon buckets, they hold rice, beans, wheat berries. Perfect product.
