AdoreSemi Permanent Hair Color - Vegan and Cruelty-Free Purple Hair Dye - 4 Fl Oz - 090 Lavender (Pack of 2)

I’m a beginner hair dyer, and this is the most of my hair I have ever dyed before. However, it was very easy to use and we somehow managed not to stain anything. After applying both colors, we put a plastic bag over my hair and blow dried on low for 15 minutes. It worked great, and turned out very pink and vibrant. I used the violet gem and raspberry twist colors. My one complaint is that the purple turned out a bit more pinkish than I was expecting, however it was still a very nice color. I would definitely recommend using gloves and covering your work surface, since it was very staining. You also have to watch out for transfer when it’s still wet, at least for the first day or two. Fortunately, once it was dry, it didn’t transfer any color onto my white pillowcase, even on the first night of having it. It also seemed gentle enough on my hair, and left it in pretty good condition. Also- if you don’t have a specialized brush for applying the color, a toothbrush comes in pretty handy :)

This dye is fantastic!!! 2 years ago, I went pastel lavender and LOVED it. During this time, i used a lot of different dyes, some of which didn't work and some that did. However, NONE have applied so quickly and effectively!!!! I decided to go back to fun and colorful hair this week, bleached my hair, and toned it with purple shampoo. Unfortunately, my hair was a little patchy after bleaching, and the toner helped but did not fully eliminate the brassy tones. Now, at this point, I have dyed my hair with certain brands that only end up working as a toner instead of a dye because of whatever reason (I'm lookin at you Arctic Fox). The instructions on this say to leave in 15 minutes or so, but we all know the longer you leave in a pastel color, the more pigmented it will get, and normally you have to leave it in longer than recommended to achieve a solid color. Well let me tell you- this dye was a major exception. I did a test strand for 15 mins and was SHOCKED when I realized it actually worked in 15 minutes, and gave me a beautiful light hue. I ended up deciding to go for a more intense color and left it on for 30 mins, and have beautiful, cool-toned, vibrant lavender hair. GET THIS IF YOU WANT SOMETHING THAT REALLY WORKS!!!!!!! Also didnt stain my sink or bathtub, and didnt bleed much at all when rinsing it out.

First time using anything like this, but I deviated a lot from the instructions. Mainly I mixed the color with conditioner. We ended up with about a 1/3 of a cup of the mixture and after her’s and mine we have a lot left over. And I used about 1/4 of the pink in the bottle.My 5 yo wanted pink hair better than she could get from hair chalk. She has golden blond hair.Here’s what I did for hers- mixed the color with a bunch on conditioner. No measurement, but the consistency was pretty thick. It wouldn’t drip off my paint brush.- I used tin foil and divided her hair into sections. Brushed the dye on with a 1” craft paint brush and folded it in the foil. I needed to do smaller sections but she is super squirmy so I did the best I could. It ended up with huge missed sections. Oh well!- I hit each tin foil wrapper with a hair dryer for like 30 seconds. She hated this part, so the hair dryer barely happened- We left the foil in for about 45 minutes- Rinsed in hot water because she wouldn’t handle old!The pink in her medium blond is very bright and beautiful.I have light/medium mousy brown hair. There are lighter streaks, maybe getting close to blond.-1 I used the same color + conditioner mix2- I sectioned my hair and brushed on the color. My sections were smaller than my daughter’s but doing this to myself was really hard.3- I hit it with the hair dryer for a few minutes and then got bored. So I just left them in for about 15 minutes. Probably should have been more patient.4- I used hot to start rinsing, then remembered I should be using cold. Oops.Super happy with the results! I will definitely buy different colors in the future.

I really liked the color result I achieved with Adore -158. I was not specifically looking to color my hair, just get rid of some of the yellow starting to show on my naturally gray hair. The results were nice and it did not leave a purple tint some of the other products I tried left. There were somecons: They product is messy, don't apply anywhere that has porous surfaces. I did not use as directed, because I could tell I was getting uneven results. I used somewhat like a shampoo. I applied ti damp hair, misted and spread evenly like I was shampooing my hair. Left for approximately 5 minutes and rinsed in shower. I'm happy I did, or I think I would have been disappointed with results.Pros: Fast and easy, the way I applied.Next time I think I will just do everything in the shower. Apply, spred evenly, wait 3-5 min and rinse.It left my hair shiny and soft. Smell was way better than my toner. No strong odors.The first picture is my results.The Second picture my hair the day prior to applying.All in all, I was happy and would purchase and use again provided the results last awhile or longer than the toner I normally use. I gave 4 stars simply because it was so messy to use compared to my toner.

Big fan of this colour. Pigment is pretty and I can get two uses out of the bottle since I have pretty thin hair which is nice. It does stain everything if you’re not careful, even after a couple days, but in my opinion it’s worth it for the pretty colour and cheap product. The picture I posted is a couple days after using the colour and I bleached my hair beforehand for context.

My nephew wanted this for a music video he was making, this came out above and beyond! The colour was right on, bright and deep…Bottle was smaller than expected but I was only doing half a head of hair! Maybe two would be better if doing a whole head…But it is definitely neon PINKLOVE IT

Beautiful colour! But it washes out quickly and it absolutely frys your hair! I continue to use it because I love it but I've just had to purchase a deep conditioner also to see if I can remedy the dryness!
