I picked this because it has instructions for using it in a smoothie. So much of the Green Plantain powder is for cooking and I'm just not sure how that will work as a drink. This is great with the Nana Flakes. I add a little Jordans Skinny Mixer (Pumpkin Caramel flavor) and it's a delicious and healthy way to start my day. I have IBS-D and have been using Green Bananas with Nana Flakes. I can get the same (and maybe better) results with Green Plantains and they are a much better price. Also I'm prediabetic, a big surprise. I was worried I'd be put on medication. I can do my best with diet and stay off meds. The Green Plantains (resistant starch requires patience for the long term results), Berberine, no sugar and the Keto diet are a better solution than another pill. And I discovered the Insulin plant. My numbers are normal now. Green Plantains and the Insulin plant both help with insulin resistance. Truly amazing results. All the years I've suffered with IBS-D I finally have hope. Things are much better.

I love this flour and have bought it many times. Unfortunately the flour arrived with a hole in the package and it got everywhere. I don’t feel comfortable using the flour when the bag has a hole in it, but it’s not returnable… I’m not sure how to contact the seller or anything. Sucks to have to eat the money in this economy.

I purchased this to use in baking. I have an animal based diet and wanted to switch out flour but still have some treats and thought using this for banana bread would be great and it was! Definitely not as moist as regular bananas bread but it was a great substitute. I also used it to make a pie crust and the banana flavor really came through which I expected.

Experimenting baking with it. Wish I could buy in larger quantities.

**I ordered plantain flour from another company, and it's what I'm used to...no vanilla flavoring or cake mix smell. I wish the ingredients listed on this were more clear... **Update: after several uses...it tastes like vanilla and bananas...which does not make for tasty salmon patties. I'm not sure what to think about this flour. Immediately upon opening the container, it smells like vanilla, or like cake mix. Is there a mixture of green bananas as well as plantains in this? It might explain the difference in smell and flavor. It definitely cooks differently that previous plantain flour I've used. Not bad, just different. All that to say, I have had no bad reactions to it, it tastes good, it's just such a different smell than other plantain flour. I will keep using it and see how my body responds.
