Q: Does the Nuvo flute have the same kind of delicate key pads found on a silver flute?

The NUVO flute has durable silicone key pads. They last a long time. I recently saw a well used 7 year old NUVO flute and the pads did not need replacing.

Q: I have trouble playing low C. Is this easier to play?

It sounds the low C very easily.

Q: I cannot produce a bflat in either octave, because when i press the f key, it's not depressing the key next to the b key. that key closes with trills?

I have three of the Nuvo Flutes that I use with young students, and all of the flutes, when I depress the f key, close the key next to the b key (as well as the key above the f key) to produce a B flat in both octaves. For all of the flutes, using the thumb B flat key, the hole below the b key is closed and the same is true when I depress the trill key. If your flute does not do this, then something is not adjusted correctly in your key mechanism.

Q: Is it the same length as a standard flute?

Yes very similar length but much lighter and a bigger in circumference.
