Q: does this dandelion product contain lead like the northwest botanicals does?

The reason the asker is asking about lead is because dandelion will pull lead from the soil into the plant. If the ground is contaminated from leaded fuel farm equipment (very common in the past), the dandelion will have lead.

Q: How long do you steep it? Thanks.

Roots should be simmered for 20-30 minutes on low heat.... Leaf should be steeped 10-15 mins in hot water... tea bags in either root or leaf can just be steeped for 10-15 mins. hope this helped

Foods which have been irradiated, no matter how they are grown or produced, cannot be labeled as USDA certified organic. I believe this applies to the shipping process as well. If you want a definitive answer, contact the producer.
