What an outstanding product - these bags actually saved my first floor from major flooding. When Hurricane Matthew hit my home was surrounded by water, fortunately the water went down just inches before entering the house. When Hurricane Florence was headed my way I knew I had to try anything to keep the water out of the house. Ordered the bags and received them in less than a week. The bags arrived, put them around the house that day, then evacuated the house for three weeks. Upon returning discovered no water entered the house, but the sandless sandbags were totally full of water. Don't know how well they will hold up on a second or third use, but they paid for themselves on the first use in my opinion. When new these bags are light weight and easy to handle. When filled with water they are heavy. Highly recommend these bags and I will definitely be ordering more.

We recently discovered them and we were excited to get them! They are very nice and well made compared to competition, buy they are lighter than a sandbag and it takes ages to get dry, ours are still wet! We had a huge amounts of rain coming down and due to the lightness the floodsax wall couldn't stay in place without heavier items holding them there! Also due to the material the sax is made they filter lots of the mud that is trying to inflitrate. Overall they are decent and will serve you well but in big floods other measures need to be taken!

Easy and quick to put up a protective barrier against an incoming high tide. Left no mess such as sand.

Great in theory, but fails in application. Our house recently flooded and the flood sax were supposed to keep plastic tarps in place. They floated away as the water rose. I have like 40 of these useless things, anyone want them cheap?

Used regular sand bags and FloodSax preparing for Hurricane Irma. The FloodSax 'floated' away while the sand bags stayed in place. Waste of money to buy and the losses we suffered because they did not stay in place. And yes, they were fully saturated before the flood and stacked four high. Saw them one week later, still drifting in channel.
