No bleed out of dye
This nickel acetate solution arrived fast and I mixed up just 1/6 (10.9g) fir testing. I sealed for 15 minutes 15um / 0.6 mil) @99'C. Seems to have worked well.

Great stuff
Sealed my black anodized aluminum parts nicely. Temperature control and avoiding cross contamination of baths is key.

Mid Temp Nickel = Good DIY Seal
This mid temp Nickel sealer is the best way for a DIY or small scale anodize set up. It seems to lock in the color better and leave a more durable surface than just boiling water alone.I run the concentration a little on the higher side but my process is heat the seal to 190-210°F while parts are in the heated dye (130-140°F). Once I'm happy with the color, quickly dip rinse the parts in room temperature distilled water, and then quickly get them into the sealer for 10-15 minutes at a mild boil. From there, they are once again dipped rinsed. While they are in the sealer, make sure the parts are completely submerged and not touching each other and if the water is not at a mild boil, be sure to agitate or mix the seal while the parts are in the tank. Allow to air dry after water dip and then wipe with a paper towel to check for any color coming off to check the seal. If you end up with significant color on the paper towel, raise your temp and seal a second time at a higher temperature for shorter duration. My one negative with this product is that it does leave more of a flat matte finish and can sometimes slightly change the color as the nickel acetate is locked into the pores of the aluminum over the dye, though some id this might be because of my higher concentration level.Overall good product and the best for the garage anodize setup with one slight caveat.See pics attached for a few my parts sealed with this product. Thanks!
