If you liked Lucivar of The Black Jewels Trilogy ;)
I loved the world of the Black Jewels Trilogy and especially "The Prince of Ebon Rih" Lucivar Yaslana and Marian's story from the short stories focus in book 4 of this series mainly. This thory feels like that. Some of Rhys phrases and behaviour is exactly as Lucivars: - His background, being an eyrian male - childhood in the warrior camps etc. - slave to an evil queen, held by magic - strongest male in his territory - he trains Marian to be able to defend herself- here that is Cassian, so maybe SJM split Lucivar into these three men? I'm not complaining ;) - [spoiler: ---- another scene later where he disappeard her clothes because she is so sore and puts Marian in the bath and afterwards plopps her on her belly on the bed and massages off her sore back with oils. Same scene in later chapters with Rhys and Feyre] I really love it, bc I read this part of the black Jewels so often. I am really happy that SJM created Rhys. Maybe there is even a little bit of Rhage from Black Dagger Brotherhood in him. By now you know, I really love ACOTAR and I'm curious for the next parts. So, if you enjoyed Lucivar in the Black Jewels, you'll most probably like this part with Rhysand, too ;)
