Does it have the option to connect the siren to the vehiacle horn?

Yes, it has a wire coming from the controller that attaches to the horn relay. there is a switch on the controller that if set to siren and you blow the car horn the siren will sound instead.

Is the siren speaker waterproof?

The speaker is, but not the siren unit.

It keeps saying "hands free". Where is the part that doesn't require your hands??

You can wire the siren box in-line between the horn button on your steering wheel and the horn relay of your vehicle to activate the horn function on the siren unit using the horn button on your steering wheel. The hands free horn activation refers to not needing to take your hands off of the steering wheel to activate the siren horn. Hope this helps.

how can an additional mic be added?

The Unit has 12v running through each wire going to the radio. Keep that in mind if drinking around with it. Burnt out two amps trying to add some features
