I wanted this and I wanted to see if we would jump a big truck went right over to a big truck asked the guy he said yeah sure and the thing started it right up no problems this is a great unit

This started a dead battery car easily.There was a short message because the battery was dead but once cleared the car started instantly.The only negative is that the battery clamps are very stiff and it took two hands to open the clamp.Very good heavy duty jump starter!
