I spent days trying to get my laptop back cover screw out. It was only 4mm wide and had been ruined beyond hope. The screw was also in a recessed part of the back cover so it was difficult to reach and on top of all that, it was a completely flat screw. This one screw was preventing me from accessing my laptop's innards. I tried using those screw extractors, where you drill and then use the extractor, which made things worse. I used superglue to see if I could form a makeshift groove for my screwdriver to no avail. I did NOT have hopes for this tool, but the reviews swayed me. I got my hands on the pliers and, to be honest, they did not look promising. I grabbed on to the screw with them but they slipped off. I made a small indentation in the laptop plastic so both sides could grab on to the screw head better. Once I had a firm grip, I slowly started twisting the screw and then...it happened...the damn screw finally budged! I kept rotating the pliers slowly in the narrow space and pulled the cursed thing out and hurled it into the pits of hell where it belongs. I cannot be happier with this product.

Excellent pliers for stripping cable easily and quickly. Whether you're stripping 2.5mm T&E, 1.5mm 3 core & earth or round flex cable, these Japanese pliers are the bee's knees. The handles are very comfortable to hold. The cutting blades are very sharp and precise making clean cuts every time. Be warned the cutter blades are only for cutting copper and soft materials. You can cut electric socket screw bolts with the hole cutter provided just above the crimper. I tried this function and it works well using just one hand. I haven't tried the crimper yet. In the video you can see me stripping and cutting 2.5mm T&E and 1.5mm 3 core & earth cable. The other cable I'm cutting in the video is 10mm T&E. In the past I've only used linemans and combination pliers. Never owned a pair of crosscut pliers before, but I will definitely be using these from now on. The way the nose is designed you can also screw/unscrew screws. The size of these pliers is 8 inches or 215mm which is fine but I would like them even more if they were an inch longer. Other than that I would still strongly recommend these high quality, very well made Japanese pliers.

Worked as advertised. I was able to remove some stripped screws from the computer motherboard with this.

Funciona bastante bien
