It's Perfect!
I'm really happy with the sound. I'm not a good guitar player and this amp is like magic to my ears. It's plenty loud on the low-level setting, I'm not disappointed one bit. The clear channel has a nice bottom end perfect for Blues and Jazz, you can gig a coffee shop with this one. The Gain channel is perfect, no pedal required to sound like a pro. The overall clarity and punch is signature Marshall sound, The buttons seemcheap, I would not push them too hard. The power chord is too short.

Fine all-around practice amp (despite annoyance with overdrive channel)
I owned a similar Marshall practice amp back in the 1990s, so I was tickled to get this one. The updated version is still a great solid-state option for small spaces; I use it for bedroom-style recording and it has plenty of power to annoy housemates. On Youtube you can find comparisons with other brands around the same price, and only the Marshall has anything approaching a classic full-bodied crunch in the overdrive channel. However, it has a minor annoyance that grows over time: When you turn the amp on, it normally STARTS in the overdrive channel---the opposite of what I think most guitarists want, especially players using separate distortion pedals. If you switch to clean, turn the amp off, and QUICKLY turn it back on, then it stays in clean. But if you turn it off in clean, and let it sit for more than ~6.5 minutes, then it resets to overdrive (probably some capacitor draining).I like this amp enough otherwise that I could not reasonably deduct a full point for this flaw, but hopefully Marshall will fix it in future versions.

best amp I have ever owned.
this is the best I have ever had since my Crate amp burned out. I have paired it with the monoprice 5 watt amp. They sound great together. The Marshall has made all my guitars sound 100% better. I bought & returned the Fender Champion 40 & a Behringer 40 watt amp. I did not like the sound of the Fender and the gimmick effects did not impress me. The Behringer had no clean channel. But this Marshall is just right.

Nice little practice amp.
Well, I know this isn’t a tube amp, but I was wanting something to play at lower volume levels and could chug a bit of Marshall tone. The boxes I received were beat to heck, but there was no blemishes on the amp. After unboxing the amp, I noticed a bit of a rattling inside the the the amp, so after removing a bunch of screws from the closed back I had a couple surprises. There was a real spring reverb tank, and it had come off of the mounting springs that attaches to a plastic base. Apparently this happens with spring Reverb’s occasionally, three of the mounting springs were very short, but one was too long and I had to rig it into place a bit, as noted on a pic. I took off one star for that, and the back is really a tight fit, and wasn’t easy to get off without damaging. This amp isn’t the loudest, but has a decent bass response due the closed back. It has a 15 watt 8 ohm speaker, which didn’t blow when I cranked the amp all way for a minute. Would be nice to have an external speaker jack. The cabinet is MDF wood, and was heavier then I expected. The amplifier has two circuit boards in it, one appears to be for the power section only, with a bank of capacitors and one power transistor with a large heat sink. The other circuit board appears to have the potentiometers attached to it, and has quite complex circuitry. Overall I like this little amp, happy to say the spring reverb sounds great, and it has a decent Marshall tone to it.

Amazing speaker for beginners and looks classic n beautiful.
Totally buy used ones for $120-150 as these in used conditions often are "like-new" quality. 😁

came in defective
I received the product just yesterday, as soon as I pugged the amp it had a loud humming on it, not the usual one, after a while there was no sound at all, as per my location, a return is not a working option, this is the first time this happens and I been using amazon for more than 10 years but any assistance was denied, so, bad product as it came defective and amazon just denied to even explore options to assist
