It works
Utterly wonderful screen. Having been using an original Mac Cinema screen for many years am now delighted that it has finally died and have bought this.Most impressed too with the suppliers SecondByte who reassured me when things got a bit slow.It is also advertised as being wall-mounted. It is only desk-mountable as it stands. The description is faulty.

A waste of my time and money.
Was described as 'Excellent Condition' when in fact it was awful. I bought the display as a third screen to complement my video editing and color grading setup. The unusable screen was worn and cloudy, it was obviously damaged from poor cleaning practices, and it had a horrible bezel-like rim running around the inner border of the screen.The entire monitor display had heavy wear and tear and scratching. The plug was also damaged which I fixed before powering the device. Sinful to describe this product as in excellent condition.It was a waste of my time and also cost me postage fees to return the item.

Specifics when purchasing
Description did not specify Thunderbolt version, or show an appropriate picture of the connectors on the end of the leads. It was an older type of Display, Thunderbolt 2, & NOTThunderbolt 3, which is the current standard, so I have to send it straight back, waiting my time & effort, due simply POOR PRODUCT DESCRIPTION & INEXPLICIT PHOTOS ! To add insult, I evenhave to pay the return postage - Which I will claim back, or else it's Lawyer time & no more orders with Amazon !

To use, a converter is required, and the back has little scratches in some places. But works very well. I love it.

Excellent picture quality
Had a new Dell but this is a huge improvement and a pleasure to look at, connected to my MiniMac. More expensive of course. First monitor didnt work but replaced without any fuss by supplier.
