This blanket is perfect to keep a small dog cozy & warm! I have a few and they are so soft

The media could not be loaded. Since rats have sharp little claws on their paws, I wanted something that I could throw over my shoulder when holding my rat boys to protect my skin from scratches. Now these little blankets have become a necessity at my house and the boys actually love them too! Every time I pick up my boys, I throw one of these over my shoulder and since the blanket is so soft and snuggly, the boys burrow into it and cuddle with it. When I have the boys out for playtime, I’ll have one of these blankets out on the couch and the boys love getting under it and snuggling. Additionally, I had a frail little hairless boy who I was hand-feeding for several months and I used one of these blankets to hold him on my lap while I fed him. The blanket quickly became HIS blanket and he’d get upset if he smelled that anyone else had been on it, so I had to make it his exclusive blanket. These blankets wash and dry really well and as often as I have to wash mine, you’d think it would be falling apart by now, but it’s not! It still looks good as new and in fact, it gets softer with each washing.

Pros: Very soft! Great for small dogs. Good for a summer blanket. Nice color.Cons: Much thinner than we expected.

We purchased this blanket as a barrier to protect our living room upholstery (both fabric and leather) from our cats, and it has been an excellent choice. I bought two to try out, and have since purchased three more because they are great pet blankets. The cats love to lounge on them, first of all. They are cozy and soft. Equally importantly, they wash/dry easily and quickly. The colors are muted and blend in with the decor. Although not waterproof (so not a barrier to pet urine), they provide some protection against pet vomit or pet poop. Great product for a great price.

Good quality. Used to make sheep head since i was unable to find pile to buy. Was easy to manipulate.

EDIT:After months and months of use, and many many washes, this thing has gotten…fluffier? I know, it doesn’t make any sense. Just with the amount of lint that came off it first wash, there should be nothing left of it, lol.Although it’s better than I first thought, this is still a very light blanket. It is more suitable for dogs, like mine, that like to snuggle under, than for those who want to lie atop. I’m changing my rating, but taking two stars off for not being machine dryable, and for its very unpreposessing first impressions.ORIG:I don’t get it. This company DOES (did?) sell fluffy blankets: I see them in the review photographs. But what I got was a thin, unattractive thing with lots of fuzz falling off. I can buy thicker, softer blankets for a fraction of the cost ANYWHERE. Maybe they’ve changed their supplier.EDIT: I’ve now had time to read the tags on this blanket. DO NOT PUT IN DRYER (Are you kidding me?) FOR DOGS, NOT FOR CHILDREN (Lordy, if its not human-grade, why would I let my dearly loved pooch on it?) Dreadful product.
