582 Series 00582 6oz Gold Latex Plastic Wood, 6 OZ, Golden Oak

Works great, bringing the benefits of wood filler and caulking together. Works well with wood with plastic-like finishes and works well as a replacement for caulking and wood putty and filler. Works like dry wall spackling. I wish they would offer it in the tub and offer more sizes. I used more than one tube to finish out a melamine cabinet with finger joint finishing and support boards installed to convert 3 foot wide closet into a pantry and jacket closet.

I got to thinking that he might not paint the repair I was making so that's why I wanted white. However, I ended up painting it anyway. But I like having the white available. The product is very thick and it adheres very well. It's easily sandable and moldable. And it makes a really nice repair.

I purchased this to fill holes and cracks in new baseboard and it worked very well. It is easy to use and I appreciate that the top twists shut to keep the product "fresh" so you can use for future projects too.

This product is—hands down—my favorite wood filler (although the packaging could be greatly improved). After you use about half the tube, it requires a lot of hand strength to dispense the rest of the product. Despite my weak woman hands and the overly thick packaging, I'm still a devoted fan because it's such a versatile product. For example—I use it mostly for wall drywall repair. Yes. Drywall repair. After trying out dozens of different types of spackling and drywall compounds, I've found that nothing beats a tube of white DAP Plastic Wood Filler. It doesn't shrink, becomes almost as strong as the drywall panel itself, and—once dry— sands down and takes paint like a dream. (For repair areas that need to support load-bearing nails or wall anchors, Mohawk Epoxy Putty Stick in White is the way to go). Bonus—after my drywall repair spot is flush with the surface, I simply dapple some additional DAP wood filler over the area, let it dry for a few minutes, and then smooth/shape it with a small boar's-hair paint brush and water. Presto chango. I have wall texture! No messy cans of spray texture required. DAP—please offer the white plastic wood filler in the tub size. I'm SO over compounds.

This stuff works awesome. It is thin enough to get into small cracks but thick enough as to not run. I already ordered more. Sands with little effort and paints/ stains nicely.

Love this stuff. The tube is handy. The product is amazing. Quick drying. Strong. Easy to sand and shape. Thw white color is usually great as I use this on a lot of white painted trim. Of course I wish it could be cheaper and sometimes the cap doesn't stay on after its been used. I feel like the product is amazing

The product works well at filling voids in wood. It is easy to use and sands to a very smooth surface. One issue: The tube is labeled as 6 oz. Net at, but the tube (or at least the one I bought) contains around 2 oz of product. First use I had to almost fold the tube in half before product came out.

I ordered one tube and another one after that. This stuff is amazing! I fixed a big hole in my door, layer by layer. I followed instructions not to put too thick layer at once. I made 3 layers, waiting for the layer before to dry completely. I was able to sand the surface to make it perfectly smoth. I repainted the door with ease. After that, I think I fixed all little wholes in the house, incuding chipped baseboards, scratched walls. 😂 I love this product! Thank you.

I use this on PLA+ 3D printed parts and it works great, can be thinned with a little water or Acetone if you need it to dry quickly. I would suggest cleaning with a damp cloth as even when dried and sanded this stuff seams to wash off in water pretty easily. Paints over with no issues.

Easy to mold or shape . . but yet to see how tough it is when its dries up.

I have not used this certain plastic wood before. So far, so good. I did not get a chance to stain it, due to unexpected rain for days. The cracks in my wood deck are still sealed well. Some areas where it was not level, water would pool on it and the plastic wood, would turn yellow. I will sand that down and really let it dry out. Other woodfillers do not work outside. Plastic is excellent
