Q: Is this cooked before packaging? It needs to be both cooked and pasteurized for it to be safe to give to my cat as a protein supplement.

This egg white protein is pasteurized for safety. Pasteurizing will kill bacteria but not actually cook the egg whites.

Q: Is this the vegan egg product called Just Egg? It’s confusing.

People are getting two different products with similar names confused here. This is not vegan. It's real egg white, as it states.

Q: The powder won’t mix with water, it clumps up and was half water and half soapy. And smells terrible... what do I do?

It takes patience. I fill the glass a little less than halfway with liquid. Then I add the powder. Then I stir with a fork for longer than I think I need to. At first it clumps, but after about a minute, the egg proteins relax and the powder incorporates into the liquid. Its a little foamy, but not too bad. Then I fill the glass to the top and drink. It has a slight smell, but I find that if I mix it with juice or iced tea, it isn't too bad.
