Good instructions. Not too difficult to assemble. Light enough to be easily mounted in the receiver on your vehicle. The ramp is easy to secure in the up/travel position and there are eye rings for straps to hold your gear or mobility scooter in place. The slats in the ramp are close enough together to allow a mobility scooter to smoothly roll up onto the platform. The rails around the sides prevent accidents loading, and have the DOT required reflectors. Comes complete with a device to prevent rattling, receiver pin and clip, and locking pins to secure the ramp in the up position. It's a pretty nice ramp and is both economical and well built. I recommend it for anyone looking to bring a mobility scooter or power wheelchair to events, shopping, or healthcare visits, where mobility devices are not supplied.

Let me start by saying that this is worth the money. For what you get and the strength it works great. I gave it a 4 star only because it sags quite a bit when you put a load over 200 pounds on it. The quality is really good for the price point and it is easy to assemble. I will say if you have a power tool and an attachment, you will want to use that. It has like 40 little nuts and bolts to attach everything. Took me about an hour to assemble so not too terrible. Again great item for the price just know that it does sage with heavier items and that again is why I gave it a 4.

Assembled and mounted in about 2.5 hours by myself. Purchased to transport a Pride Victory 10 scooter 250 miles. Secured with bungee cords. Great performance from the carrier. Only thing I would change would be to include the ability to fold it up when not in use. -But for the money, it is excellent!

The instructions if that’s what you call them were horrible!! After about an hour and 30 minutes my son finally got it put together only to find out the rails that lay down so you can load a wheel chair up on the carriage, one rail secured great, got ready for the other side and there’s no hole for the cotter pin to go through to secure it. We were also missing a couple screws, plus it came with a couple dents in it. Now Amazon did give the option to send it back, after I contacted them, or to take a small percentage refund. I chose the refund, due to the hassle of putting it together, pieces missing etc, my son having to drill a hole, I should have just sent it back. I did give it a 3 because after everything was finished it was sturdy and didn’t look too bad, even with the dents.

This was the perfect size to carry my mobility scooter on. The main reason I purchased this one was because it was aluminum and it is light weight. I have a full length brace on my leg and I am non-weight bearing for 12 weeks. I was concerned about being able to lift/lower the ramp while only able to use 1 leg. This was a great purchase. My neighbor used rivets instead of the screws that came with it to beef it up a little more when he put it together for me. Once the carrier was installed on the car, the bracket to prevent any movement of the carrier was installed and there is absolutely no noise, or movement of the carrier at all while driving over bumps, gravel roads etc. I would recommend this. It's very stable, sturdy, and easy to use. It was well worth the money.
